It's important to leave the treatment in your hair for a while and also ensure no residue remains on your skin to prevent blemishes. Here's my routine: shampoo -> treatment -> body wash -> rinse treatment (bending forward to wash only the hair, then flip back) -> lightly cleanse neck, chest, shoulders, and back where hair might have left treatment residue -> continue with the rest of your routine. Many people don't realize how often treatment left on the body can cause chest or back blemishes.
