The lather is amazing! Being liquid, there's less worry about shampoo residue, and it rinses off easily. The downside of being liquid is that it can be a bit runny. Also, the white musk scent can become overwhelming if you smell it too often. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 13, 2021
When it comes to shampoo, I always go for Kundal. It's great value for the ingredients, and both the feel and scent are lovely. The old formula was too runny and would drip everywhere when pumped, but I've noticed they've revamped it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMay 29, 2021
Great value for money with a generous amount and a lovely fragrance. The consistency is a bit thin, so it can sometimes drip and go to waste when pumping it into your hand. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2020
Kundal products are known for their great ingredients! While I can't say for sure if my hair has dramatically improved, compared to other silicone-free shampoos, this one has made my hair noticeably softer. Even though I'm not one to brush my hair often, I've found there are no tangles and my fingers glide through easily. When blow-drying, my hair slips smoothly between my fingers, cascading down effortlessly. The fragrance is absolutely delightful and long-lasting too. I love how the scent wafts up while I'm drying my hair - it's such a mood-lifter! Another plus is that you can see how much product is left, which helps me plan ahead for repurchasing. The formula is quite runny. If you're not careful after pumping it into your palm, it can drip. Due to its thin consistency, it seems to run out faster. Also, while I'd love to have a matching set, the bottle colors differ across products. You can easily get by with just the shampoo, no need for conditioner. It's fun to try out the different scents they offer too! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 14, 2020
First off, the fragrance is truly delightful. However, I can no longer recommend this product. As someone who has been using Kundal products for over 3 years, I've gone through countless bottles, exclusively using their line. Originally, the formula was so thin it would drip through your fingers when pumped. While inconvenient, I continued using it for years based on its ingredients, as there weren't many good options available at the time. (Initially, Hwahae only listed fragrance as a caution ingredient.) Around early last year, the texture changed to a thicker consistency. That's when I started developing small bumps and even pustular blemishes on my previously clear face. At first, I didn't suspect the shampoo since I'd been using it for so long. While seeing a dermatologist, I decided to switch all my skincare and body products to gentler options. Researching on Hwahae, I discovered the shampoo's formula had changed. After switching to a different shampoo, the pustular blemishes stopped appearing, and the small bumps began to improve. Unfortunately, my skin, once sensitized, hasn't fully returned to its healthy state. They still advertise it as a 'healthy' shampoo, but I don't believe that's accurate anymore. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 4, 2020
- The fragrance is absolutely amazing.. It might be even better than some cheap perfumes. - My hair seemed to become noticeably shinier. - My hair felt like it gained a bit more strength. - The bottle is quite large. Using it alone, I think it lasted about half a year. Even for those with long hair, I believe it could easily last 3 months. - It's very runny. Be careful as it can slip through your fingers. Due to its thin consistency, if you squeeze it with the same force as regular shampoo, too much might come out. Be cautious. If you don't manage the shampoo opening well, you might get squirted with shampoo liquid. - For those with oily scalps, your hair might get greasy a bit faster. - When used in the morning, the scent lasts until bedtime. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 8, 2020
The subtle fragrance is lovely, and it lathers up nicely which is a plus. It's a bit too runny, so when you pump it out, it tends to splash or drip down your hand, which can be inconvenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 2, 2020
I'm writing this review after purchasing two sets plus a body set with my own money. It's a shampoo that leaves me feeling ambivalent, plunging me into a dilemma... That's because its pros and cons are intriguingly mixed. The biggest advantage? Hydration! It's incredibly moisturizing. If you have oily hair, it's so hydrating that you might not even need a separate conditioner - your hair won't tangle at all. The scent is one you'll either love or hate. My husband doesn't use it, haha! The ingredients are gentle, making it soothing for the scalp. It's non-irritating and feels great. You only need to use a small amount. I have long hair that reaches my shoulders, but I only need to use about 2/3 of what I normally use with other shampoos for effective cleansing. It lathers well too~ It doesn't damage your hair and leaves it moisturized~ You need to rinse thoroughly. It's a shampoo, but it feels somewhat slippery? So I rinse multiple times. It's quite runny... This is what disappoints me the most. If you're not careful with the pump, you might end up wasting half the product... I have to crouch down and pump it a couple of times in small amounts to apply it to my hair... For those with oily hair, focus on shampooing the scalp area and make sure to rinse thoroughly~ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2020
I love that I can buy a large size of this shampoo since it's a scent I adore. It's wonderful how my hair feels soft just from shampooing, and I honestly can't find any downsides to it. The formula is quite thin compared to other shampoos, making it prone to dripping. I'm also using the Hwahae White Musk line treatment, but I feel like the fragrance might be slightly different. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2020
I've only been using it for 11 days, so I haven't noticed any major changes yet. In the past, I used to just use any well-known shampoo, but lately, I've been getting blemishes all over - face, back, shoulders - you name it. So I thought, 'Let's try switching shampoos!' That's how I came to use this product. The fragrance is really lovely. Maybe it's because I personally like white musk scents, but it smells so good that my friend asked if I was wearing perfume when I came out. Rather than disappointments, these are points that weren't particularly positive, so I'm writing them here. 1. Texture: The formula is quite thin, so when you pump it, it just runs out. 2. Moisturizing effect based on scalp type: Since I had a perm over 4 months ago and my hair texture isn't particularly great to begin with, I didn't feel a significant moisturizing effect from this alone. After shampooing, I still needed to use a separate treatment to revive my hair texture, just like usual. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily scalps. I'd suggest buying a shampoo specifically for oily hair instead. It might be good for those with dry scalps. 3. Ingredients: I bought it because I heard the ingredients were good. Although I haven't been using it for long, the itchiness on my scalp has improved compared to before - maybe because my previous shampoo was harsh due to fragrances or silicones. However, this product can't calm or alleviate ear-area acne or back acne. It's just an okay product to use. Nothing got worse, but it doesn't produce any dramatic effects either. It's that kind of shampoo.
