The formula is a water tint + water film (oil film), and it feels much more like a water tint compared to existing water film tints. If you remove the oil, it would likely apply like water. The color and texture seep into the lips rather than being layered on top, like a water tint. After application, a light water film rises to the surface, which makes the lips look very pretty, but the lasting shine is not long-lasting. The lips feel comfortable, there is some staining, and it doesn't transfer much onto masks. Here are reviews for each color: - 01 Coral Summon: A basic orange coral with a slight red undertone, making it suitable for both warm and cool-toned light complexions. - 02 Pink Backdrop: A slightly warm, lukewarm pink that light-toned individuals can pull off. - 03 Clarity Index: Described as a pink-red, but the pink is not overpowering. It's slightly warmer than a definitive cool tone, but still wearable. - 04 Awakening Pink: A muted, medium-toned pink that becomes darker with layering, making it too dark for my light complexion. - 05 Red Worldview: A unique shade that combines brown, red, rose, and mauve undertones, not entirely warm but still wearable for light-toned individuals who want an autumnal vibe (though it does darken with layering).
ConsThis product has many disappointing aspects. Firstly, the tint deteriorates very quickly, to the point where it seems there is an issue with the product. After using the #2 shade only about three times, the light orange scent turned into a sour yogurt smell, and after a few more uses, it became unbearably rotten. I'm usually tolerant of slight scent changes, but this was unusable, so I ended up throwing it out after just a month of purchase. The #4 shade also started developing a sour smell just a week after I first used it. This is unacceptable for a product that was only used once. The remaining #1, #3, and #5 shades seem okay for now, but I'm worried they'll deteriorate quickly as well. Secondly, the texture is closer to an old-style water tint rather than the recent water-based tints, so the water film wears off quickly, and the staining is uneven, like a water tint, leaving a patchy appearance on the inner lips. It has that same "disappearing upper lip" feeling as a water tint. As a result, once the shine wears off, the lips quickly become dry and chapped. Even the deeper shades leave a chalky, yogurt-like stain on the inner lips. In comparison, products like Laneige Water Stain, Romand Juicy Lasting Tint, and Clio Melting Tint are much better water-based tints. I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product.

I really liked how it beautifully stained my lips with a subtle pink color.
ConsHowever, the reason for the one-star rating is that the tint went bad after just 3 months... I've used a lot of tints before, but this is the first time something like this has happened. I was surprised by the sour yogurt-like smell that suddenly appeared.
TipIt's also worth considering that it could be hit or miss and the tint might go bad quickly. But the color, lack of emphasis on flakes, and expression on the lips were all things I really liked, so it's a shame.
