The color payoff is great, and since I don't suit matte or mousse velvet formulas, I really like that this one has good color while being soft and moisturizing. It's hard to find products like this these days, isn't it? That's why I found this product particularly nice. (Except for the fact that the stain isn't red but quite orange... Other shades might not be like this, and it could be fine for those who suit this stain color or don't mind it.) The stain... was orange. The product itself wasn't orange, but rather a clear, vibrant red. However, the stain it left behind was disappointing. Honestly, the whole point of using a tint is for the lasting color, even after long wear. But when the original color and the stain are this different... Plus, I'm not a fan of orange. The texture when applying felt a bit oily? Out of habit, I didn't blend with my fingers and just pressed my lips together, but it felt greasy. When I used blotting paper, there was quite a bit of oil. So, I'm looking for a product where the original color and stain don't differ much, something you can easily find in stores. I tested shade 2 (Pink Context) as well, and it seemed to stain true to color. I don't mind just blotting with the back of my hand or a tissue to remove excess oil. So if these points don't bother you, it's a decent product. (I deducted stars considering how oily it is and how different the original color is from the stain for this particular shade.) Due to the significant oiliness, it would be good to blot it once with a tissue or oil blotting paper. Also, compared to other tints, it seems to seep into the inner part of the lips more easily, beyond the lip line. I didn't intentionally apply it that way, but after pressing my lips together once or twice, I noticed this unique characteristic. The taste isn't strange though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 25, 2021
The color is gorgeous! It's rare to find such a beautiful red gel tint. I absolutely loved it... However, it does have quite a few drawbacks. If you check my other reviews, you'll see that I'm generally a big fan of Peripera products! But this tint was really disappointing. First off, the scent! It has this dizzying alcohol-like smell. And applying a gradient is incredibly difficult! It stains your lips instantly with each application, so layering just makes it more intense, resulting in an overly deep red lip. Sadly, despite all that, the staying power isn't even that great. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 29, 2020
1. Hydrating 2. Unique texture reminiscent of a serum tint when applied to lips 3. Minimal transfer (tested with a tissue) I wasn't expecting much, but wasn't this supposed to be a clear pink-red? I bought it as soon as it launched because it's Peripera, but I'd be really upset if I paid full price for this. The color looks like something a middle schooler would wear - it's that dull reddish-brown shade. I'll have to test it more, but it's such a common color and I really don't like the shade itself. I'll add swatches later when I update this review
