It's incredibly affordable when purchased during a sale. A solid choice for everyday use. This shampoo makes my scalp itchy. The ingredients aren't particularly impressive either... I'm planning to switch to a different brand. - 0l********Oily SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2024
I was excited to learn this product contains caffeine, as I've been making and applying my own DIY caffeine serum. After using only gentle products post-pregnancy, the strong fragrance in this was overwhelming. It's a functional shampoo, so why add unnecessary fragrances? The cleansing effectiveness seemed poor, leaving my hair slippery, so I had to use another shampoo afterward. For those with oily scalps, it's best to pre-wash thoroughly with a different shampoo, especially for your hair strands. - ze**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresNov 14, 2022
I tried this product in a small size. It has a thin, transparent texture with low viscosity. As it's marketed for its fragrance, the scent is quite strong. (Many people like the scent, but to me, it smells a bit cheap, haha!) The foam lathers up well initially, but it dissipates quickly. This means you end up having to squeeze out more product midway through washing... It's surprisingly wasteful. The deal-breaker for me is that my scalp starts itching within a couple of hours after using this product! No matter how thoroughly I rinse, I soon get this irritating sensation... My scalp isn't particularly sensitive, so I'm really curious about why this happens. I don't think I'll be using this product again, unfortunately. - ey*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2022
I bought two large bottles of Kundal shampoo during a sale and I've been using them. While it's too early to tell about its effects on hair loss (as someone who has tried various anti-hair loss shampoos, I haven't noticed anything extraordinary yet), I do feel that my hair has more volume and feels stronger. I bought this because I heard it contains more caffeine compared to other anti-hair loss shampoos, but I haven't noticed anything special yet. I've heard it works better if you leave it on for about 3 minutes after lathering, so I always set a timer when I shampoo. - he*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2021
I don't have hair loss, but I do have shiny hair. I have an oily scalp, so I need to wash my hair daily, and if my scalp gets dry, I tend to get flaky skin. I tried this because I like the firming effect of caffeine. Personally, I think it's better than other caffeine shampoos I've used like Plantur 21 or 31, especially in terms of how my hair feels after washing and scalp hydration. It's also a clear winner when it comes to price. However, to be honest, it's hard to feel the caffeine firming effect on the scalp. Why? Because I don't have hair loss, and you can't really feel the texture of your scalp. People with hair loss would need to try this to determine if caffeine is effective for that. This applies to all caffeine shampoos, not just this one. Anyway, setting aside the caffeine aspect, its cleansing effectiveness is good. I usually do a double wash, but if I use this product alone for both washes, it can be drying. For my oily scalp, on a typical day when it's not excessively greasy or sweaty, this product is suitable for a quick single wash. As for hair texture, it doesn't make your hair amazingly soft when used alone. But that's not what I'm looking for anyway. It doesn't make my hair feel dry and rough either. You still need to use conditioner though. Compared to the Organist Cherry Blossom, the scent is practically non-existent. There's a faint smell while shampooing, but it doesn't linger after washing. Well, I bought it out of curiosity. It's not super cheap, but it's not something I avoid using either. However, it's not so amazing that I'd definitely repurchase it, and it doesn't offer significant price benefits, so I probably won't buy it again. The bottle color is identical to regular shampoos, so my parents can't tell the difference. I use it for my first shampoo. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 27, 2020
The product has a thin consistency, but it still managed to create a decent lather. I thought this caffeine shampoo would help a bit with hair loss, but my hair is falling out even more, and I'm getting blemishes on the back of my neck. By afternoon, my scalp gets oily too. I need to finish this quickly and switch to something else. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2020
I'm using this product without any issues. I trust it because of its gentle, low pH formula. On days when my hair feels particularly oily, it doesn't seem to cleanse as thoroughly. So on those days, I do a quick pre-wash, then follow up with a second, more thorough wash. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 10, 2020
Review after using one bottle: For extremely oily scalp, coarse hair texture, and frequent heat styling Leaves a finish similar to cleansing with a mildly acidic foam Decent ingredients, a generally satisfactory product It claims to prevent hair loss, but I'm not sure about that... As someone with an extremely oily scalp, it feels like it doesn't cleanse thoroughly, leaving an unsatisfactory feeling - dh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 9, 2020
The fragrance is absolutely delightful! It lathers up nicely and has great cleansing effectiveness. I've tried various anti-hair loss shampoos over the years, but this product is by far the most satisfying. While not all scents are to my liking, the cherry blossom fragrance seems to be the best among them. Compared to regular shampoos, this caffeine shampoo is about 1.5 times more expensive. I was hesitant about which one to buy, but decided to spend a bit more on this one. However, I'm not sure if there's a significant difference between this and regular shampoos. - wo*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2020
I hastily bought this due to hair loss concerns, and after using it for about a month, I'd say it's just... okay? It seems like my hair might be falling out a bit less. The ingredients are slightly disappointing. I'd prefer to use a product with a safer formulation.
