  As someone with extremely damaged hair from perms, thin strands, and frequent straightening treatments, this is the only hair essence I've consistently used multiple bottles of. What I love most is that I can apply it frequently without it making my hair sticky, so I find myself reaching for it often. It's not too heavy, which can leave hair greasy, nor too light, which doesn't tame frizz. It's just the right weight for my damaged hair. Right after application, it might look a bit heavy, but as my hair absorbs it over time, you can really see how it smooths and defines my strands. While its effects don't last extremely long, I use about a thumbnail-sized amount and distribute it evenly, applying 2-3 times a day. Usually once after my morning shower, and 1-2 more times throughout the day. It's hard to find major flaws with this product, and most importantly, it delivers results. That's why I keep coming back to it! Highly recommended!

  I heard from my hairstylist that alcohol in hair essences isn't great. Apparently, it's added to prevent stickiness and improve absorption, but it's not actually good for your hair. This product does contain alcohol, which is a bit disappointing. I've looked for alcohol-free alternatives, but they all seem too thick and sticky, so I don't reach for them as often. Until I find a product with better ingredients, I'll probably keep using this one.
