I bought a laser hair removal device for at-home use, but it caused ingrown hairs that couldn't break through the skin. It was incredibly itchy, and I scratched so much it left marks. Thinking dead skin cells might be preventing the hair from growing out, I decided to try this product. Thankfully, after using it, the itching subsided, and I've tucked away that laser device in a corner of my room. The exfoliation effect is great, and the scent reminds me of the massage parlors I visited on my trip to Vietnam! As you scrub with it, the granules dissolve, and the warmth from your hands makes it feel like you're getting that Vietnamese massage. I absolutely love the fragrance, and I'm planning to repurchase this one instead of the Best version.

I wish it came in an even larger size. It can be a bit harsh on the face, so you need to mix it with water (though that's not really a drawback, since it's a scrub, after all!).

First off, the lingering scent after showering is absolutely delightful. While it's not ultra-rich, you can definitely feel the hydration working its magic.

They still use some potentially harmful chemicals like fragrances and colorants. The plastic packaging also needs improvement (though the main container is made of clear, highly recyclable plastic and is large enough to be repurposed).

I've known about Tree Hut products for a while, but after trying them, I can see why they're so popular. It's no wonder they've been Olive Young's top seller for 6 years straight. The large granules really work hard to remove dead skin cells, leaving a refreshingly cool sensation. I love the generous 510g size, and even though I have combination dehydrated skin, it didn't leave my skin feeling dry after use. The coconut lime scent was perfect for summer. With various fragrances available, there's something for everyone's taste. In the past, I might have wanted to try every single type, but now as a more mature consumer, I'll stick to buying just what I need.

Body scrubs aren't essential like body wash, toothpaste, or sunscreen - they're more of a nice-to-have. I went without one for a while and still only use it when necessary. However, I've found it's unbeatable for preventing ingrown hairs after waxing. While scrubbing too hard can cause irritation, using it gently works wonders for preventing ingrown hairs and leaves skin feeling great. Body brushes are another option, but while they're long-lasting, they might be too harsh for Brazilian or bikini line areas.

I assumed this product wouldn't be environmentally friendly, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the company is making efforts. They're a certified cruelty-free brand, avoiding animal testing on ingredients and finished products, and don't export to countries where animal testing is mandatory. This product is also vegan and free from parabens and harsh surfactants.

Tree Hut is doing okay, but there's room for improvement. If I can't find a better body scrub, I might repurchase this one.

Works well for sensitive dry skin. The refreshing lime scent mixed with a hint of coconut creates a pleasant, gentle fragrance that lifts my mood. You can barely detect the coconut scent itself. It's also effective at removing dead skin cells.

The only slight inconvenience is having to scoop some out into a dish before getting in the shower, haha.

Other than that, I don't have any complaints!

I love the scent! Of course, fragrance preferences vary greatly from person to person. When I tested it at the Olive Young store, I actually preferred this coconut-lime green product over the bestselling pink one (can't remember the name, haha). The scent lingers quite nicely even after washing it off.

The generous amount is a plus. You can use it for a long time after purchasing. I use it once a week, or sometimes once every two weeks if I forget. Maybe because I'm not diligent enough in using it regularly, there's still plenty left!

As for effectiveness, there's a noticeable difference compared to not using it. After scrubbing, my skin feels distinctly smoother and softer.

I soak in hot water first, then scoop some onto my palms and gently scrub all over my body. As I mix in water and continue scrubbing, the granules dissolve, leaving my skin incredibly soft. The fragrance lasts so long that when I use it during my evening shower after work, the subtle lime scent lingers until I fall asleep.

While they say you can use it as is, if you soak in warm water for a bit first, you can achieve that soft, smooth skin without any irritation!

I was shocked when I looked at the ingredients. The scrub particles are quite large, which can cause a slight tingling sensation. Also, the jar packaging is inconvenient - it tends to overflow when you open and close it. A tube or pump bottle would have been much better.
