The granule size is just right, not too harsh, and the scrubbing effect is good. It also doesn't leave the skin too dry, with a slight oily feel left behind. When you see the sugar scrub, rubbing it makes it melt and disappear, but this one doesn't do that. If you scrub firmly, it gets quite abrasive to the point of turning the skin red, so the intensity varies depending on how much pressure you apply. The fragrance is also nice. First, you can simply shower with a body wash, and then gently massage this product all over your body or on problem skin areas. While it removes the dead skin, it leaves your skin incredibly soft and smooth. Also, my skin is so dry that I usually have to apply body lotion right after showering, but this product is so moisturizing that I sometimes even forget to put on the lotion.
