I tried this product as part of The Hwahae Testers, and I absolutely loved it. I used it once every evening for 2 weeks, with 2-3 day intervals. Here's what I liked: 1. Compatibility with existing skincare: I was initially skeptical about using this water-based product over my usual sensitive dry skin products, which tend to be oily. However, it absorbed wonderfully and left my skin feeling incredibly hydrated. 2. Hydration: It provided excellent hydration without any skin tightness. I think it could work well year-round, in both summer and winter. 3. Application and finish: This might be subjective, but I really enjoyed the finish. Despite my typically heavy skincare routine, this product didn't feel heavy at all. It left my skin moisturized without any stickiness or greasy residue. 4. Effectiveness: I'm prone to allergic reactions, especially around my mouth, but this product caused no irritation at all. It was very soothing, which I really appreciated. 1. Packaging: Given how hydrating the product is, the ordinary packaging felt a bit inconvenient. The lid becomes slippery when opened, and if any product gets on the body of the container, it becomes quite slick. 2. Inner lid: While necessary for hygiene, the inner lid was tricky to handle due to the product's slippery texture. Since this is meant to be the final step in skincare, your hands might already have residue from previous products, making it even more challenging to grip. The key is to gently pat the product into your skin for better absorption, otherwise it might run. Also, I'd recommend using it every 2-3 days rather than daily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2021
When applying for The Hwahae Testers, I tend to choose products that suit my sensitive and dry skin! After researching, I found that the 'Water Glow Mask' received an excellent grade in the German derma test and was introduced by Eugene in 'Beauty and Booty Season 5' as an essential winter skincare item, which made me trust it even more. Upon receiving the product, I noticed it included a spatula, and as shown in the third photo I uploaded, there's a QR code sticker to verify the authenticity, which made me feel confident about using it. Currently, the 100ml large size is on sale for 38,000 won with a buy one get one free offer! I hope many people will take interest in this opportunity. When I used the product, I found it has a pudding-like texture that transforms into water droplets when gently rolled onto the skin, giving a cool sensation and a feeling of deep hydration! I was worried about two precautions due to my sensitive skin, but fortunately, this product didn't cause any redness or blemishes, and instead seemed to have a soothing effect. In my opinion, the product seems to have an aroma scent. Personally, I like the smell, but it might be a matter of personal preference for others. Also, it doesn't absorb quickly, leaving the skin feeling slick as if you've applied oil to your face, so please keep this in mind when considering a purchase. Apart from these two points, I had no other complaints! I'm completely satisfied with it. Apply it evenly after your skincare routine, including toner and emulsion, and let it absorb until water droplets form! Storing the product in the refrigerator can provide additional cooling and soothing effects. The precautions mention avoiding the eye area when applying, so it's good to keep that in mind. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 15, 2021
First off, I was impressed that despite having two potentially irritating ingredients, it felt incredibly gentle when applied - no stinging at all! The texture was unlike anything I'd ever tried before. While I was initially skeptical, I kept using it consistently. Before I knew it, the tightness and dryness I usually feel after cleansing had disappeared. The biggest plus for me, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, is that it doesn't feel oily at all. It's truly just pure hydration, which I love! The unique texture - cream that transforms into water when you rub it in - takes some getting used to. I often wondered if I was applying it correctly. If you don't pat it in quickly enough after it turns to water, it can actually drip off your face, which made me question if it was really absorbing or just sitting on the surface. The texture is also more slippery than other creams, causing me to accidentally drop it a couple of times when using the spoon applicator. I think a pump bottle would be more practical. While it feels wonderfully moisturizing right after application, once it dries, I find I need to mix it with another emulsion for sufficient hydration, which is a bit inconvenient. For those who find it bothersome to pat in the product quickly due to its water-like texture, try mixing it with a regular emulsion. That's what I do, and it helps me achieve both hydration and moisture balance. It's a great way to make the most of this product!
