This is perfect when you want to kill harmful skin bacteria. Interestingly, it's the type that you rub and rinse with water, so be careful!! I think I'll end up using these pads obsessively because I really prefer the clean, refreshed feeling over just a nice sensation. I was pleased that the tweezers included allowed me to pick up each sheet individually. The pads were sufficiently well-moistened. As the day approached, I started to get a few small blemishes, but the alcohol seemed to help soothe them. I was pleased that there were no concerning ingredients when I checked the ingredients in Hwahae. I also have severe fine dust allergies and my skin is very sensitive, so it's not easy for me to exfoliate. But when I wiped it off in the morning, I could see a lot of dust visibly coming off. It was a different feeling than just cleansing. After wiping it off, I immediately did a water rinse. I think it would be effective against fungal skin conditions like tinea or malassezia, and folliculitis, since it's said to kill harmful bacteria on the skin.
Cons
After cleansing, I applied a generous amount of soothing gel. So far, my skin hasn't become red or irritated. However, the alcohol fragrance is quite strong, so using it daily might be too much for me. For super sensitive skin, I think just doing this exfoliation once a week without any other exfoliants would be sufficient.
Tip

I was able to use the Hwahae Trial Reviewer event to try out the product. The best part was that after cleansing, I always felt like there was still a layer left behind, but using the Moonul Astringent Pads from Amore Pacific to wipe and rinse with water, my face felt refreshed and squeaky clean. It's as if the remaining layer on my face had been removed. I've attached photos showing the residue wiped off by the pads before and after use! I was quite shocked when I first saw it...;; Even though I had already washed my face, there was still so much left behind...Anyway! After using the Moonul Astringent Pads, my skin felt so soft and baby-smooth even with just basic skincare, and I loved it! These days, with constantly wearing masks and the terrible fine dust, my face always felt stuffy. And another great thing was the scent! The herbal fragrance from the pads was similar to the Aveda pore-refining pads(?), which made me feel so refreshed. I plan to purchase this product once I've used up what I received from the event!
