What motivated me to buy: I was on the hunt for a foundation or cushion without sunscreen ingredients, and this product seemed relatively accessible. Here's the backstory - I have extremely oily skin, probably the worst case scenario. For over a decade, from my teens to my 30s now, I couldn't find a single base product that worked for me. Right after application, things would look fine, but when it came time for my makeup to break down, without fail, I'd end up with a party of dead skin cells and excess oil on my face. I always wondered: Why does my extremely oily skin, which rarely feels dry, suddenly throw a flaking fiesta when I put on makeup? Recently, I developed a theory - could it be the physical sunscreen ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide? Not only did I struggle with base products, but I also couldn't find a single sunscreen that worked for me. Chemical sunscreens caused immediate hives and rashes, while physical sunscreens gradually dried out my skin, made it feel hot and red, and even triggered blemishes. If physical sunscreens were drying out my skin so severely, wouldn't the same ingredients in most base products be doing the same thing? So, I decided to look for a foundation without any sunscreen ingredients. I used Hwahae's search function to exclude specific ingredients and found this product. Review: I'd recommend this for combination dehydrated skin types. 1. Color and texture: Shade 4 seems to be around a 23. My skin usually looks brighter with 22 and slightly darker with 23, and this shade 4 makes me look a tad dark. I wish it was a bit brighter. The texture is very runny. 2. Flaking: Zero flaking or dead skin cell emphasis. My theory seems to be correct. If you always get dry and flaky when using physical sunscreens or makeup, maybe it's time to accept that your skin struggles to maintain its oil and moisture balance and consider ditching products with physical sunscreen ingredients. 3. Pore coverage: Surprisingly satisfying! I had zero expectations, but it practically erases nose pores. It neither covers nor emphasizes pores in the butterfly zone. 4. Evening out skin tone: Also surprisingly satisfying. It neutralizes redness and evens out pigmentation well. It makes my skin look more uniform than any other foundation I've used. Previously, foundations would even out my skin but somehow negatively impact my skin condition, making it look patchy. This product doesn't do that. 5. Longevity: The staying power is incredible. It stays put for 11 hours with minimal changes. No fading, no darkening, no flaking. Oil production is similar to when I'm bare-faced. (For context, I have extremely oily skin with terrible oil-moisture balance, so previous base products would emphasize flakiness while also increasing oil production - basically, oil on top of dead skin cells.)
Cons1. Blemish coverage: Disappointingly low. You might wonder if you even applied anything. Maybe about 10% coverage. 2. Adherence: Haven't tried, but it seems like it would come off with just a touch. 3. Shelf life: Very short. 4. Accessibility and price: I bought it on SSG.com, which is just a platform like Gmarket or 11st, so it's hard to verify authenticity. This made me hesitant to purchase, and it's also expensive. Shipping takes a while too. 5. Separation: See the photo. You need to shake it every time, like a lip and eye makeup remover.
TipI wrote such a long explanation of my purchase motivation hoping that people with similar skin issues would relate and try this product. If you don't have these issues, there's absolutely no reason to buy this - there are so many other great products out there.

My skin feels incredibly light all day, as if I'm not wearing anything. I used to stress about removing makeup, but this product comes off easily, just like washing my face. It's really great. The water-like formula comes with a dropper, which is hygienic and adheres well to the skin when applied, making for a pleasant user experience. There's no worry about pigmentation, and my skin doesn't feel irritated or stressed when applying or removing it. I'm truly satisfied!
ConsThe coverage is really, really low. So if you're looking for some degree of coverage, I wouldn't recommend it. Due to its matte finish, those who prefer dewy foundations or have dry skin might want to mix it with an emulsion or cream for better results.
TipI use it together with a concealer that provides some coverage!
