  I bought this toner knowing that galactomyces works well for my skin. It's lightweight yet hydrating, and it really helps even out my skin texture. I'll probably keep repurchasing it.

  There's not really anything to complain about, but I wish it came in a larger size.

  Tip

  I used to do toner masks with cotton pads, but it created a lot of waste and was a hassle. So I bought a silicone mask and now I do a daily toner mask routine. It really helps refine my skin texture and I love it.

  Pros

  I love galactomyces because S*2 works so well for me. It doesn't have that distinctive pungent smell. The watery texture confirms it's a toner, not an essence. It feels wonderfully hydrating when used with an ampoule. I'm not sure about its brightening effects yet. The generous amount means I can use it liberally without worry.

  I don't have any negatives to report at the moment. I'll update if any arise.

  Pros

  At first, when I patted it in with my hands, it felt like it was just sitting on top of my skin. But when I used a cotton pad, it worked much better. Making it into a toner pad was a game-changer - it removed dead skin cells and left both the surface and deeper layers of my skin feeling hydrated. Of course, the toner alone isn't enough to prevent dryness - I still need to follow up with an ampoule and Physiogel Intensive Cream. I loved how it helped even out my skin tone. I chose this single-ingredient product because I thought fermented ingredients didn't suit me, and I'm glad it worked out well.

  Cons

  It can be a bit of a hassle sometimes since you really need to use it with thin, wide cotton pads designed for toners, rather than just your hands.

  I recommend using it by wiping with a toner pad.

  The texture is light, and when applied, it feels more moisturizing than refreshing, helping to combat deep dryness. The scent is pleasant, and it absorbs well into the skin.
