I bought this niacinamide product hoping it would help with whitening, and even though I've only been using it for a week, I haven't seen any whitening effects yet.
The formula isn't just a lightweight, quick-absorbing one - it has a bit of a viscous, creamy texture that feels really nice and refreshing!! I love how lightweight and airy it is.
This seems more suitable for absorption rather than cleansing, and since I don't really use cleansing toners anyway, I'm really satisfied with it.
Even though I have very sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any irritation or breakouts from using this product. I'm planning to continue using it consistently.

I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and tried this product for the first time, and it's perfect as a summer toner... 😇 The texture is watery and lightweight, so it's just the right product to replenish moisture.
As someone with dry skin, I often found that using only watery toners didn't provide enough hydration, and my skin would end up feeling dehydrated and oily. But this product is the real deal..
Even though I use a lot of it, the amount doesn't seem to decrease much!!
Once I finish this, I'll definitely buy it again with my own money for the summer!

The niacinamide content is quite high, so I'm only using it at night just in case.
I personally don't recommend it as a cleansing oil. It's clear like water, but I think it's more suitable as a makeup remover.

The ingredients themselves are good, so I could use it with confidence.
Especially for women in their 20s who are just starting anti-aging care, it seems light and good as a starting point!

The texture is not too watery or too thick - 
it has about a 50% viscosity, you could say.
So, the application felt smooth.

Also, the absorption was good,
so I felt like it was sinking into my skin.

Even though I have extremely dry skin in the summer,
I felt like my skin was getting a bit more hydrated.
So, I'm quite satisfied with this aspect as well.

While the lack of irritation was good, the main function of whitening/brightening was unfortunately not noticeable. Perhaps due to the short duration of use, I did not see the whitening effects I had hoped for, which is quite disappointing.

This toner has a slightly thicker and stickier consistency than regular water-based toners. It has a similar feel to a runny serum. After application, it provided immediate and effective hydration. There was less irritation than expected, and it seems suitable for daily use.

If you apply a cotton pad soaked in the product to dull areas or areas where you feel a loss of elasticity, it can greatly improve the condition. Especially right after removing the cotton pad, the skin feels so satisfying, as if it was my own healthy skin.

There were no particular downsides. The design has a sense of luxury, and due to the nature of the ingredients, the dark bottle may have been used to prevent discoloration, but I think a slightly more opaque bottle would suit it better!

In my case, I have used niacinamide products from other companies several times, and in the case of this ingredient, continuous use over a period of time is important, but 2 weeks seems a bit short. I would like to write down the pros and cons during this period.

1. Absorption - There is no grainy or powdery feeling on the face
I have used other company's products up to 20%, but often the next day, my face would feel dry and powdery, as if powder was left on my face. However, in the case of this product, the absorption seems good, as there is no powdery or grainy feeling, and no powder buildup on the product container.

2. Low irritation
Right before I received this product, I had a severe breakout and scarring for some reason. But while using this product, I did not feel any sensitive irritation. Also, when I applied a cotton pad soaked in the product to the areas with a lot of blemishes 2-3 times a day, the blemishes seemed to fade faster than usual.

3. Moisturizing
This is related to the first point, but previously when using niacinamide products, I often experienced a powdery, dry feeling. But this product absorbs well, and despite its lightweight texture, the moisturizing effect lasted a long time. Although the usage period was only 2 weeks, my skin looked brighter, and the dull areas around my laugh lines and mouth seemed to improve. Also, my skin, which was tired from the breakout, seemed to regain some elasticity, which I was very satisfied with.

This has the perfect moisture and oil balance for combination skin🤗 My skin tends to be dry, but it also has some oiliness, so I don't really like super nourishing products or creamy formulas. 1. Texture & Feel
It has an unexpectedly oily feel to it. Personally, I wasn't too fond of the texture. It's a bit too light for wiping with a cotton pad, but feels a bit too greasy when just patting it in with my hands.
However, it's not a runny watery toner either. It's heavier than a water toner, but closer to that texture.
The texture is just so-so, making it hard for me to give it a high rating. Given that it's practically summer weather in June, I think the oily feel could be too heavy for those with oily skin.  I also wonder if it absorbs quickly enough (leaves a slightly tacky, suffocating sensation?).

2. Volume
150mL - It's not as much as I had expected. I prefer larger 300-500mL toners since I use a lot of it. I think I used about 2/3 of the bottle during the trial period. Those who use a lot of toner may find the volume lacking.

During the Hwahae Trial period, I would pour some onto a cotton pad and wipe my face 2-3 times a day. After that, I would just dispense some into my hands and gently pat it into my face to absorb.

I was quite torn between using the cotton pad method and just patting it in with my hands. The moisture level seems to be somewhere in the middle.

The design is clean and feels premium. It's a twist-open container. There was a protective cap when I first opened it, which was nice.

It's said to help with wrinkles. But since I don't have high expectations for toners (I just want them to provide hydration without dryness), this isn't a particularly important factor for me.

To add to the explanation provided in the booklet, mitochondria are organelles within cells that play a crucial role in generating the energy used by living organisms. However, they are also the site of reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. As cells age, the condition of the mitochondria deteriorates, leading to decreased energy production efficiency and increased ROS generation. These ROS can cause damage both inside and outside the cells, contributing to the development of wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity.

I've participated in various Hwahae events before, but this is the first time I've encountered a brand that has put so much care into the packaging and even included a postcard. The fact that life science experts were directly involved in the product development makes me want to try out their other offerings as well. Since my first impression was not bad, I may consider purchasing from them again in the future. I recommend this product.

 As for the main functions of wrinkle improvement and tone improvement, I haven't noticed the effects yet. These are elements that are difficult to see short-term effects on. But I think if I use it long-term, I'll be able to feel the difference.

Moisture and absorption
The products that don't just sit on the surface and have good absorption also tend to have less tightness. This product was quick to absorb. Normally when I just apply toner and walk around, I immediately feel tightness, but this toner didn't have that tightness for a while even without applying other base products! It seems to have a good amount of moisture and nourishment. I recommend this to those with dry skin.

Skin texture improvement
This seems effective in improving skin texture. After properly feeding the skin with this toner, the skin texture becomes unusually soft. This also amplifies the effects of other base products.

Soothing effect
I tend to have a lot of breakouts around my period, but thanks to this product, the breakouts subsided quickly. It contains centella extract, which seems to agree well with my skin. I plan to make good use of this on days when my skin is fatigued, as it's good for skin recovery.
