I've tried moisturizers from Clinique, Biotherm, Kiehl's, Amore Pacific, and others, but this is my 4th repurchase. To be honest, I used to avoid moisturizers because they seemed to make my skin drier. However, this one deeply hydrates from within, and the moisturizing effect lasts for hours. It feels like a fresh, dewy coating without being heavy. Some products don't dry out the skin but leave a greasy feeling. This one strikes the perfect balance between the two. It's definitely one of my holy grail items.
I was surprised when I looked at the ingredients. There are some that could potentially cause pigmentation or wrinkles, which is ironic since we use skincare to prevent those issues. It was a bit shocking, but if we obsess over every ingredient, we'd never be able to use any cosmetics. I think it's about finding what works for you, while being somewhat mindful of the ingredients.
Personally, I find this product great for intense hydration in the evenings and for soothing the skin in summer. During the dry spring, fall, and winter seasons, I recommend mixing it with a bit of facial oil for best results.
