  Pros

  The Moisture Spring Cream didn't quite live up to its name as a hydrating cream. It has a gel-like texture with a subtle, clean scent reminiscent of soap. The gel consistency makes it incredibly easy to apply and spread, but it doesn't absorb quickly. You need to gently pat it in to improve absorption. Once fully absorbed, it leaves a powdery finish, but before that, it can feel a bit like it's sitting on top of the skin. On the plus side, it's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause any blemishes.

  Cons

  While it felt very hydrating on the back of my hand, when applied to my face, it wasn't as moisturizing as I expected, causing a slight feeling of tightness. For those with dry skin, it might be a bit drying and lacks the deep hydration needed. The moisture retention isn't as impressive as hoped.

  Pros

  The absorbs well is smooth and I love that you can use it generously like a mask due to its large size. I particularly liked that it's not just purified water, which might be why it feels a bit more rich for a hydration cream. This seems to make the hydration last longer. As I knew it was from the herbal line, I'm totally fine with the scent and actually quite like it!

  I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a product that absorbs completely. It might feel sticky during summer.

  Despite being a gel, it has a rich texture and feels as substantial as any cream. The hydration is truly excellent, and the scent is refreshingly similar to the old Biotherm Aquasource cream. It's so moisturizing that you can apply it right after toner without feeling any lack of hydration or dewiness.

  Cons

  It doesn't absorb instantly, so it might feel a bit heavy for pre-makeup application on summer mornings. It seems more suitable for winter, spring, and fall use.

  Tip

  I recommend applying it in two or three thin layers rather than one thick layer.

  For combination and sensitive skin types: This product has a moderately sticky texture that gives your skin a plump, bouncy feel. It's one of those 'Wow, my skin feels so firm!' kind of products! I usually finish my skincare routine with Torriden products, but when it's particularly dry like these days, I sometimes add this for an extra boost. It's great! The scent is like... ginseng? Lemon? Something along those lines. Personally, I find it much better than typical cosmetic fragrances. With 150ml, it lasts a long time. I'm already on my third bottle! Since they changed the lid design, the scent seems to have shifted a bit. It used to smell more oceanic, but now the ginseng notes are more prominent.

  Cons

  When my skin gets dry, I sometimes develop a bit of atopic dermatitis, and applying this product at those times can be quite painful. I wondered why it hurt so much, and it turns out the ingredients aren't particularly great, unfortunately. So now, I only use it after applying other skincare products, just when I feel I need a little extra something.

  Tip

  In summer, I found that using just this product after toner was sufficient. However, in winter, you'll need to use other skincare products as well for proper hydration.

  Although it's a hydrating cream, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry even when applied in winter. The moisturizing power is excellent. Especially after a sauna when my face gets extremely dry, I apply the Hyobidam cream generously like a mask after toner. By the next morning, my skin feels hydrated without any dryness. The ginseng scent isn't like traditional herbal fragrances, but rather modern and refreshing, making it a pleasure to apply in summer.

  I was surprised by the number of potentially harmful ingredients. I'm on my second jar and haven't experienced any blemishes. It's even more disappointing because I thought this was the best hydrating cream I've used so far.

  For a synergistic effect, try misting with the Hyobidam Hydrating Toner from the same line before immediately applying the Hyobidam cream. This combination helps prevent deep dryness and maintains hydration for longer.
