Taeyeon - What Do I Call You Give Taeyeon's new song a listen! It's so good! Reviewer Info: - Shade 21 (prefers natural skin tone), pale greenish skin with no flush (olive undertone) - Seasonal tone (affected more by saturation than temperature) - Continuously revises reviews if unsatisfied Product Info and Features: - Warm, mysterious + muted dried rose shade - Contains marshmallow root extract(?), said to have a powdery marshmallow complex texture... What's that about? - 3.6g for 11,000 won (wow) What I Loved: Color It's a warm, medium-toned mysterious + muted dried rose color. It's a fairly common shade, to be honest. But it's just too pretty to resist! It's not just a clear, fair dried rose color, but more of a beige rose(?) with lots of grayish undertones (what even is that?) The swatch in my attached photo is pretty accurate, but note that it was taken under fluorescent lighting. It also looks beautiful when mixed with darker mauve/purple lips or brick lip colors. Texture It's almost completely matte, yet incredibly smooth when applied. I'd say it's close to matte, maybe a semi-matte? It's definitely not as hard as a crayon, but more like... a creamy crayon texture? Personally, I prefer this texture over ambiguously glossy velvets. The texture also works great as a blush! Application/Blending Despite its powdery texture, it applies incredibly smoothly! It blends out beautifully at the edges too... Wow! This easy control makes it perfect as a lip base! Adherence/Longevity The adherence feels really good. Being a powdery type, I love how it clings to the lips. With such good adherence, it's bound to last long, and this product definitely does! It's hard to pinpoint exactly how many hours it lasts, but it certainly outlasts other velvet tints. No Staining Despite being called an 'Ink Airy Stick', it doesn't actually stain. It might look like it's staining as it settles into lip lines, but there's no noticeable actual staining.
ConsRoom for Improvement: Packaging First off, the color of the packaging is similar to the product, but not quite right. And it's not pretty. At least the tint's baby bottle packaging has character and is cute, but this... It's just a lightweight, plain package with nothing special about it. Scent It has a slight crayon-like scent. It's not overpowering unless you put your nose right up to it, but it's definitely not a scent you'd want to smell often.
TipOverall Impression: Overall, it seems to be a cost-effective lipstick that's easy to use casually, with color being its strongest point! I probably wouldn't be too upset if I lost it... End of Review I'll be secretly happy if you hit the like button... If you have any questions, please leave a comment! I'll respond right away!
