I had been using the Season 6 Ultimate Eye Cream, but this time I won an event and got to try the Pure Rescue product! First off, both have the same thin, flat container opening, but Ultimate feels a bit more luxurious with its traditional herbal scent. This product seems to target sensitive skin, so it's incredibly hydrating and feels more like a soothing face cream compared to Ultimate (maybe because of the Centella extract?). What I loved most was how quickly it absorbs! Usually, eye creams are known for their thick texture and stickiness, but this one has a creamy consistency that absorbs fast, making it comfortable to use all over the face. Also, it contains alpha-bisabolol, which is said to have brightening and calming effects! I think this could be a great all-in-one product for those with sensitive skin.
Paying full price for the 30ml product might be a bit too much. It seems buying AHC eye creams from home shopping channels is the best deal. While the ingredients have improved from previous versions, I was disappointed to see so many unnecessary ingredients still included. With so many cost-effective soothing creams on the market these days, I don't think I'd repurchase this one.
If you prefer a nourishing, rich texture, I'd recommend the previous Ultimate version. But if you're looking for a lightweight anti-aging product, this one might be worth trying.
