I've used Aveda shampoos before, but this was my first time trying their mask product! I got to test it as part of The Hwahae Testers program. My hair is fine and damaged from frequent coloring. While I haven't been using it long enough to feel like my hair has become thicker, I did notice that my hair felt somewhat more moisturized both during application and after use, which was nice. In winter, I usually struggle with static and frizzy flyaways, but this product helped tame them to some extent. I have super sensitive skin and scalp, so I was a bit hesitant about using a product for both scalp and hair simultaneously. Fortunately, it rinsed off cleanly without leaving any residue, and I didn't experience any itching or irritation!

Usually, treatment or mask products have a seal on the opening when first opened, but this product didn't have one, which was a bit surprising. The most divisive aspect might be the scent. I'm used to using traditional herbal products, so I can handle most scents, but this one is really unique. It has a sharp, almost medicinal smell that's quite strong. Those who are sensitive to fragrances should take note. Lastly, there's the price. I have short hair, so the amount will last me a while, but for those with longer hair, it might run out quickly considering the price isn't exactly budget-friendly.

While it's not exactly a pro tip, I like to shampoo first, then apply the mask mainly to my hair, just lightly coating the scalp. I rinse it off after finishing my shower routine.
