The lotion glides on like silk, yet it doesn't feel lightweight or runny - it has a rich, dense texture. It's perfect for my dry skin, especially in the dry winter.
Even though I bought the cream too, since the lotion is so nourishing, I find that just using the lotion is enough. 
But I still use both diligently, to really replenish my skin's moisture and oils in the winter.
I highly recommend this to anyone with sensitive, dry skin like mine!
