It's cheaper when purchased through social commerce sites 2. The tube packaging is hygienic and makes it easy to control the amount 3. The gentle ingredients are a plus
Cons1. It's too thick, which makes it difficult to absorb well 2. It lacks hydration and seems more suitable as a surface coating

I have extremely dry skin that tends to flake in winter, but this cream makes my skin feel comfortable. I'm on my third tube now. While it may not be the absolute best, whenever I try something else, I immediately notice what I'm missing and always come back to this. Highly recommended for dry skin!
ConsIt leaves a sticky feeling until fully absorbed. It's quite rich for summer use. Absolutely not suitable for oily skin types.
TipI noticed that makeup tends to pill when applied over this cream. I prefer to use it before bed.

I'm not entirely sure though...
ConsThe formula is rich and very oily, so if you use it before makeup, everything pills and separates. After using it, your skin feels greasy. I have seborrheic dermatitis around my nose, philtrum, and surrounding areas, and it stung when applied there. The fragrance isn't great either... It's expensive and not recommended. You're better off not buying it at all.

Texture: Being a rich cream, it's great for slathering on before bed in winter. The next morning, my skin feels well-moisturized - that's a win! Ingredients: I'm pleased with the product's formulation. Even with my super sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes.
ConsWhile it was usable in winter due to its rich consistency, as the weather warmed up, its drawbacks began to surface... 1. For my combination dehydrated skin, it's like Vaseline... When I apply this, only the surface looks smooth. I think, 'Oh, my skin looks plump today!' but when I put on foundation, it separates around my nose. The foundation cracks while the surface looks greasy - the worst-case scenario! 2. Intending not to use it as a basic skincare item, I applied it generously before bed. When I woke up, I was shocked to see clumps that looked like bits of aloe vera all over my face. 3. It feels more like a hand cream than a face cream.
TipIf you really must buy it, only use it in winter!

So I had a lot of scars, and as I got older, my skin became sensitive and dry. But the area under my lips and around my chin gets oily, and small bumps come up... Ah, yes, that's the kind of troublesome skin I have. When I use products with palmitic acid, various acids, or alcohol, my skin gets upset and feels tight. And right now, I'm only using the Skinfood Honest Toner and this cream. I hardly use any color cosmetics. I think I've been using Rovectin for almost 3 years now. It feels a bit rich to use in the summer, so I apply the toner 3 layers and apply it to the dry areas around my eyes and lips. In the winter, I apply the toner 3 layers all over my face, patting it in to absorb it, and apply an extra layer to the dry areas. And for the past 3 years, I haven't had any major breakouts. I hope it doesn't get discontinued. 😢 ------------------- When they renewed the packaging, there was a change in the ingredients. Palmitic acid, stearic acid... 😢 That's why my breakouts started coming back. 😢 I'm so disappointed. 😢😢😢
ConsThis cream is a bit rich to use in the summer, I'd say.
TipWhen applying foundation or BB cream, you can mix a small amount into it to make the makeup look more natural and smooth.

The texture is very dense. As it's a concentrate, I expected that. It's quite oily but applies smoothly and adheres well. Over time, the texture doesn't feel heavy or transfer. It's amazing! It works great as a night cream. There was some stickiness on my hands after application, but since my face was quite dehydrated, the stickiness was minimal and it felt soft. Even though I applied it thinly, the moisturizing effect and longevity are good. (It may not keep my face as moisturized and free of visible flakiness until the next morning in winter, but it's still effective.) After application, my face becomes nicely dewy and supple. It's enough that I don't need to apply a separate facial oil. The ingredients seem very beneficial for skincare, beyond just providing moisture, and as it's a product developed through research on skin barrier function, I look forward to finishing the whole jar.
ConsThe moisture level is lower than the rich, dense moisturizing feel, so it can cause whiteheads to appear in the T-zone area. That's why it's more suitable as a winter night cream that I don't reach for as often in transitional seasons. The dense texture may not be preferred by those who like a light, fluffy cream application. If you sleep with this on, your face feels a bit unpleasant if you don't cleanse with a face wash in the morning. And even though I stored it in a place away from sunlight, the formula separated this past very hot summer. While other products were fine, this one seems to separate easily, so you'll need to be extra careful with storage and use it up quickly. (I'm already too late, but hopefully this helps others.) It's quite pricey in Korea unless on sale... The annual cost of this oil I used to stock up on for winter has hardened.
TipThis isn't a mainstream product, but I would cautiously recommend it to those with thin skin like mine who struggle with dryness, itchiness, and flakiness as the weather gets colder and drier. You'll need a hydrating product as a precursor to this one.

So as I continue to use it, my acne gradually decreases and the redness also disappears. #Product Renewal Review I've been using it continuously for 3 years since the previous review. I've tried various products, but I don't think there's any other product that has improved my skin as much as Rovectin. I've been using the newly renewed product recently, but I feel somewhat disappointed, if you will. The volume has increased compared to the previous product, but the texture has changed completely, so as an existing user, I have a slight aversion to it. It's definitely become much stickier, and there's a feeling of it sitting on the surface. When I first applied it, the feeling was "Hmm?" as it spread on stickily. However, after a little while, that stickiness gets absorbed and doesn't just sit on the surface.
ConsThe disappointing aspects are the price range and the volume, but I'm 100% willing to make that investment for the sake of my skin!! #Renewed Product Review Before, it was oily but it would just sink into the skin, making it feel moisturized from within. But the texture has completely changed, becoming much stickier and sitting on the surface, so it's a bit less moisturizing than before, which is a bit disappointing 😢 Previously, it was so moisturizing that I could apply a lot before bed and not feel any dryness in the morning, but now it's a bit drying.
TipThere's no special tip, just that you need to apply it consistently. #After Product Renewal After the renewal, the sticky feeling caused the previous moisturizing effect to be lost, which was difficult. But this winter, due to extreme dryness, my skin was not just dry, but irritated 😢 By adding more products from the Rovectin basic line, my skin troubles have almost completely gone away, and I've been maintaining a trouble-free complexion for over 3 months now. My current routine is: Skin -> Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Lotion -> Aloe Vera Moisture Essence -> Berry Repair Cream Concentrate + Berry Repair Aqua Concentrate Adding the lotion and aqua moisture cream was a real game-changer. If I mix the renewed cream with the aqua moisture cream in a 1:1 ratio and apply, it helps reduce the sticky, surface-level feeling and allows it to absorb more moisturizing.

In actual use, I was able to use it without any trouble, and the moisturizing power and lasting hydration were also good.
ConsThe disappointing aspects were the oiliness and glow. I like to apply it generously, but the feeling of being shiny in the morning was not to my liking. And it seems a bit rich to use in the summer.

The peeling that always comes in the changing seasons.. Skin flipping ㅋ On top of that, the cushion foundation (Gyeonmiri) that everyone else fits but I don't, made my skin bumpy and flipped over.. After seeing a celebrity's recommendation of this product on Instagram (the best for flipped skin. It's gentle, that kind of content), I looked up the ingredients on Hwahae and immediately bought and used it at Lohbs. While taking the antihistamine prescribed by the dermatologist, I applied this cream every night, and saw the effects in just two days. I thought it might be the medicine.. But when I didn't take the medicine for two days and just used the product, I could see the reddish small bumps? The pimples were fading, and the bumpy texture was subsiding. It has a quite oily feel when applying, so I'm using it alone after toner.. When small pimples come up, the effect is definitely there. The review about it fading the skin is true. I don't use it every day, but only when my skin feels sensitive, like when pimples are coming up or my skin feels bad. After exfoliating, I just apply this, and the next day my skin is definitely stabilized. I really like it, but there have been so many creams that just don't work for me ㅠㅠ Avène, Dr. Jart Ceramidin, Physiogel cream, La Roche-Posay Toleriane, and Centella products, as well as oil-based products, are all not suitable for me. There are more, but I won't mention them because I feel too pitiful.
ConsThe conclusion is that this product, which is not yet widely popular in our country, really suits me well... (There's one more that suits me well. The Nuxe Rêve de Miel Night Cream, which I've already used up 3 bottles of.) Anyway, you shouldn't blindly believe that something everyone else says is good, because there's a chance that you could be one of the few that it doesn't suit ㅠㅠ The texture feels rich enough as soon as you apply it, but it's less oily and absorbs faster compared to Cicalphat, Ceramidin, or Physiogel.
TipI don't apply it in the morning. I usually do my makeup with a cushion, but I feel like the puff gets pushed in. Only at night.. It seems to work better if you exfoliate well and then use it. I ordered a new skin care product today. I'll try that out and leave a review as well. Lastly, when I was young, I was always told that my skin was good and fair. I never really cared for my skin, but from my mid-20s, maybe because I didn't take care of it well, my skin has become very thin and keeps flipping over. Any skincare products I use seem to make my skin flip. Especially color cosmetics and sunscreen. Maybe because I don't apply sunscreen well enough, my skin tone has also become yellowish these days.. In the morning, my cushion makeup makes my skin look good, but by the afternoon, it's a dry, flaky, dehydrated skin type. When I go to the dermatologist, they say my skin is thin and weak, and that it's sensitive. I don't have acne, but I have small bumps and uneven texture. For the past 2 years or so, I've been hoarding products that others say are good, and spent a lot of money.. If there are others like me, I hope this review can be helpful ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Once applied, the scent quickly dissipates. Although my skin tends to be a bit dry, I don't usually have issues with blemishes, blackheads, or acne. However, around December last year, I started developing pimples around my sideburns, cheeks, and chin area, which also left behind a lot of scarring. So I've been trying different skincare products over the past few months. I used to only buy high-end department store brands for my entire routine, but then I realized many of the popular overseas luxury brands have questionable ingredients, so I've been exploring more sensitive skin-friendly options at Olive Young and Lohbs. The Cera-X cream has been working quite well for me. Being on the drier side, I really enjoy the rich, nourishing texture of this cream. When I apply it at night and wake up the next morning, my skin feels so soft and smooth, almost like I've just done a facial peel. Since using this, I've had hardly any major breakouts (just the occasional small blemish here and there) and the pimples I do get don't seem to leave as much scarring, which is amazing. This cream really helps to hydrate my sensitive, dry skin. For those with oily skin, especially in the summer, it might feel a bit heavy, though.
ConsThe shea butter content may be the reason, but this cream is quite rich and creamy, which causes my eye makeup to smear a lot when I use it before applying my makeup in the morning. It's probably best to avoid applying it around the eye area.
TipI think it would be a good idea to use a lighter moisturizer during the day and save this richer cream for nighttime use. That's what I do - I only apply this at night, using a thicker, mask-like layer, and my skin feels so soft and hydrated the next morning.
