Well, I use it for my morning and evening cleanse. I wet my face, work up a rich lather with the soap in a foam net, and then gently apply it to my face. However, when I'm wearing sunscreen, I use this in combination with a foam cleanser.

The downside? Perhaps the price. It's a bit expensive, so I hesitate every time I buy it... But the effectiveness is undeniable, so I end up purchasing it again when I run out.

When blemishes appear, washing with this soap quickly calms them down, which I absolutely love.

After using it morning and night for about two weeks, I was amazed to see the tiny bumps around my eyes disappear! This was my first time trying a soap after only using foam cleansers, and I was really satisfied with how rich the lather was and how squeaky clean it left my oily skin feeling!

I'm using it like a cleansing mask by leaving the lather on while I brush my teeth. I also use the whole bar of soap for a massage, similar to gua sha.

The scent tries too hard to be nutty. It would be great if they sold a dedicated soap dish along with it.

On days I use this soap, I pay extra attention to hydration. I apply serum, then a soothing cream, wait a bit, blot with oil-absorbing sheets, and then apply a bit more soothing cream. For those with extremely oily skin, you can just follow your usual skincare routine after cleansing. As I have slightly combination dehydrated skin, I think everyone should adjust according to their skin's needs!

The price-to-volume ratio is a bit disappointing or average. The main inconvenience is that after using more than half the soap, it doesn't lather as well as when it was new. Initially, 5-6 rolls would create a rich lather, but halfway through, you need to roll it at least 10 times to get even a little foam. It seems to run out faster from that point. It might feel expensive for those who need to use it daily. I can't recommend it for those with dry skin as it might worsen their condition. Even for my oily skin, it feels different from a low pH cleanser after use. Since it's still soap, it can potentially damage the skin barrier, so I don't recommend it. Other than that, if used correctly, I highly recommend it!

Type - Combination, combination dehydrated skin, super sensitive skin

It's just like regular soap! But if you use it with a foaming net, it'll last much longer than if you just lather it with your hands.

Feel - There's a noticeable difference after use. It feels like it cleanses thoroughly, which was great for my oily skin. I initially used it for folliculitis, as maintaining pH is important for treating it. As an alkaline cleanser, it definitely gives that deep-clean feeling.

Effects - I used it twice daily for two weeks. At first, it showed results and helped with folliculitis. However, being an alkaline cleanser, it wasn't ideal for my sensitive skin to use twice daily. It actually weakened my skin barrier, causing more folliculitis. For those with oily skin (unless extremely oily), combination dehydrated skin, or normal-to-oily skin, I recommend using it once every 2-3 days in the evening, or just once daily in the evening. I now use it twice a week in the evening, focusing on extra hydration afterwards. On other days, I use a low pH cleanser. Even though it's alkaline, it's one of the gentlest, and applying a moisturizer quickly after use helps restore the skin's pH to 4-5.

With this routine, my folliculitis has significantly reduced. It may still appear if I sleep late or don't watch my diet, but only 1-2 spots at a time, which I'm satisfied with.

Scent - It's almost unscented to me, with a slight charcoal-like smell. It's not particularly pleasant, but I don't mind it.

Caution: While using this, I didn't experience any spread of redness, inflammatory acne, or closed comedones, nor did they increase. However, they can occur if your skin barrier weakens, so be careful about that!

I didn't see any significant improvement for folliculitis. I'll need to use it more to see if it helps.
