Recently, my skin condition has become extremely sensitive, to the point where I can only use the products I've been using and can't use anything else. So when I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I was very careful about the ingredients. First of all, aside from the fragrance, the cosmetic ingredients are very, very natural, so I'm relieved and reassured that there are no troubles or breakouts. It has a slightly more dense and serum-like essence texture. I was worried that it might not absorb well or leave a greasy finish, but those were unnecessary concerns. It absorbs well without leaving a residue, and it leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturized. There's no stickiness, and the lasting power is great, which I really like!
Cons
It's a pump-style, so for example, with a tube type, I'd have to cut it open to use it all up. Haha. The price is a bit on the higher side, but since it doesn't cause any breakouts, I'm willing to repurchase. I've been using it for about a week, and I don't think I've seen the full effects yet, but one thing I liked about using it was that it didn't have the typical cosmetic fragrance and was almost fragrance-free, which I really enjoyed. :) And when I applied it and let it absorb, my skin felt plump and smooth, and there was no irritation, so it seems like a gentle product. Some other products left a bit of a tightness after applying, but this one didn't have that at all, and it seems to have increased the moisture in my skin a lot!! I was also surprised to see that it seemed to have a whitening effect when I tried it on the back of my hand, and the product description did mention whitening benefits as well!! This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. I have a dehydrated skin type that is prone to an oil explosion and redness/acne if not properly managed. I really liked using this product because it is moisturizing and has a pumping dispenser, which is hygienic. When I applied my usual cream on top, my overall skin texture became more supple and smooth. 😊

The reason I took off one star is that it did not resolve my inner dryness. From reading other reviews, it seems to have helped with dryness and hydration for others, but for me, I felt like my dryness actually worsened. As a result, my oil-moisture balance got disrupted, and I started breaking out a little. I used it for about 3 days before passing it on to my mom. I think this is just an issue with my skin type. When I use a toner and cream, I tend to feel inner dryness, but when I just use a cream alone, the dryness inside is less, even if the surface feels a bit dry. Also, it seems to be a common trait of soothing-type products that after some time, they can feel a bit thick and sticky.
Tip
This product might be good for those who do a full multi-step skincare routine with toner, serum, and cream. If you also tend to experience inner dryness no matter what you use, try just using a slightly richer, creamier moisturizer on its own after cleansing. It's incredibly smooth and has a shimmering glow when applied!!! I really liked the application feel~~ I tend to prefer a more seamless application, so I enjoyed it even more~ The application feels like the Hadalabo cosmetics that actress Jeon Yeo-mi used to advertise - smooth and velvety...do you know what I mean...?🤣🤣
