The balm-like texture makes it smooth and easy to apply. It's especially effective at relieving itchiness. During summer, when insect and mosquito bites were unbearably itchy and even medicated patches didn't help much, applying this really made the itching disappear. It's also great for muscle pain. I bought it for neck and shoulder use, but applying it above the shoulders causes eye irritation due to the strong scent. So I use it on my arms and legs instead, and it works wonders!
