Among pure vitamin serums, this one is incredibly affordable. I'm already on my third bottle. When my skin feels super sensitive, I apply a stabilizing serum. Since it's a vitamin product, I use it in the evening. Due to the nature of the product, you need to be careful about sealing and light exposure. The shelf life is also short, so it's necessary to apply it generously and use it up quickly. - To slow down oxidation, wrap the bottle in foil, place it in a paper box, and store it in the refrigerator. Make sure to seal it tightly when closing. - If you have sensitive skin, don't apply too much - just use a small amount. On days when your skin is irritated or you have many blemishes, either skip it or apply a stabilizing serum while monitoring your skin condition. - Due to the product's characteristics, it may stain clothes, pillowcases, or towels yellow or red. While washing can remove some of the stains, to completely eliminate vitamin traces, you'll need to boil or soak them in bleach. Even if stains remain after washing, they won't cause irritation or problems when in contact with skin, so I don't worry much about stains on towels or pillowcases - I just try to avoid getting it on clothes. However, if staining concerns you, you'll need to be extra cautious. - mi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2025
When I use this as part of my nighttime skincare routine, the results the next morning are truly amazing. My skin feels absolutely radiant. I can't live without this product! It can be a bit irritating, so be cautious when using it if your skin is in poor condition. You might experience some tingling sensation. - wo**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 20, 2025
It's great for layering multiple times when you're not using a toner The consistency is thinner than expected, so it might run down your face - rl***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 19, 2025
While it doesn't dramatically brighten the face, there is a subtle improvement in the complexion. The absorption isn't particularly impressive, and there's a slight scent to it. - hi********Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 19, 2025
I purchased this product because I needed antioxidant benefits for my skin. When I first used it, I felt a slight tingling sensation on my skin. I understand this is a normal reaction when using high-concentration pure vitamin C products. This response is actually a sign that the vitamin C is working effectively on your skin, so there's generally no need to worry. However, if you have sensitive skin, I recommend doing a patch test before use or applying it in the evening. Personally, I experienced a brief tingling sensation, but it quickly subsided, and the next morning my skin seemed clearer. ✔️ Consistent use is key! While you might not notice significant changes after just one day, the expected benefits from consistent use are clear. The high concentration of vitamin C appears capable of making your skin brighter and more radiant. I think this product is particularly suitable for those looking to improve dull complexion, blemishes, or dark spots. Vitamin C is known to inhibit melanin formation, helping prevent sun-induced pigmentation and lightening existing dark areas. After about two months of regular use, I noticed my blemishes and dark spots had faded. ✔️Irritation: Pure vitamin C can irritate the skin at high concentrations. Those with super sensitive skin may experience tingling, redness, or dryness. It's advisable to do a patch test before use. ✔️Oxidation: Vitamin C can easily oxidize when exposed to air, light, and heat, reducing its effectiveness. It's best to store it in an airtight container in a dark place. ✔️Quick use: Pure vitamin C serums are prone to oxidation, so it's best to use them within a certain period after opening. Most products provide guidelines on usage duration, which is important to follow. ✔️Be careful with storage! Refrigeration is a must. Discolored vitamin C loses its effectiveness, unfortunately. - so*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 11, 2025
The dark spots on my cheeks have slightly faded after using this. The quantity is generous, and the brown bottle helps prevent oxidation. After two months, it's only turned slightly yellowish without major changes. Despite being pure vitamin C, it doesn't irritate my skin. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciate that it's nearly scentless. Whether it's due to the nature of vitamin C or not, it feels like it sits on top of the skin. It's as if it doesn't absorb well, almost like an oil. For those with oily skin, I recommend blotting excess oil with oil-absorbing sheets after letting it absorb. Using this vitamin C serum after cleansing with a slightly acidic cleanser can improve absorption. - an**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 11, 2024
When I wake up, my skin feels more balanced and I notice a reduction in redness. It's like it works hard while I sleep! There's not much to complain about, except that it can cause a slight tingling sensation when you have blemishes. It might be a bit irritating for sensitive skin. - mi******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 20, 2024
The runny texture absorbs well and applies smoothly. With its gentle ingredients, it's no surprise there are no blemishes. I think you can purchase it based on the specific functions you need. I also like that it's fragrance-free! Since it's an essence, you can't use this alone. You need to apply it with other products. It can be quite drying on its own. I found it works best when you layer it twice. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 24, 2024
This vitamin C serum is the ultimate bang for your buck. I bought it after a YouTuber's recommendation and used VM then VA in sequence. With VM, I felt no irritation at all, while VA had a slight tingle when first applied. However, after a few days of use, your face literally glows. As someone who had acne scars, I never really understood what 'brightening effect' meant until this serum showed me. It not only significantly improves your complexion but I especially recommend it for those with severe acne scarring like myself. There are no downsides! The price is reasonable, and the quantity is sufficient. Just keep in mind the storage method - wrap it in aluminum foil and refrigerate. Also, remember to use it within 6 months! For the best skincare routine, apply vitamin serum in the morning and use either retinol or TN serum in the evening. Personally, I use Instanatural 2.5% Retinol and Cos De BAHA for my TN serum! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 21, 2024
Great value for money! I love how concentrated it is - I haven't found a better alternative yet. The only downside is that it might be a bit too strong for some people's skin.
