My youngest has the driest skin. We've been using the Ato Emulsion for quite some time now. Hydration (★★★★☆): My youngest used to scratch a lot with other emulsions, but that's reduced since we started using the Ato Emulsion. It maintains moisture fairly well. Texture: It has a light, fluid consistency that feels weightless on the skin. Scent: The fragrance might be divisive - some may find it strong. It comes in three scent variations. This is the original, and the scent tends to linger. I could still smell it when I woke up in the morning. Packaging: The tube design is great for easy dispensing. Application: It spreads smoothly, which I love! Longevity: It varies between my children. When I touch their skin, I find it lasts longer on my second child. For my youngest, I apply both the emulsion and a cream. The staying power is decent overall.
ConsPrice: It's not exactly budget-friendly. I keep an eye on their Instagram for deals and buy in bundles. Even though it's popular among moms and regularly sold on their site, the regular price is quite high. It's best to stock up during sales. Longevity and Application: As every child's skin is different, some people might have set their expectations too high. Compared to my second child where the hydration lasts, I need to reapply more often for my youngest. Be careful not to over-apply though, as it might not absorb well and could cause itching if too much is used. I prefer to apply it in thin layers, taking my time.
TipGiven the higher price point, it's not a bad idea to request samples from their website to try it out first. I also use jojoba oil - I mix it with the emulsion and then apply a thin layer of cream on top.
