The cooling effect is not bad, and it's comfortable to hold while using. I wish the cooling sensation lasted a bit longer! It would have been even better if it left my skin feeling more matte after use. To minimize the pilling effect mentioned in other reviews, you really need to keep the application time to just 1 second? It's extremely short. - sa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2023
I bought this in summer but didn't use it until early fall, just after the hottest days. When I was in a tent and my face felt too hot and flushed, making me dizzy, I sprayed this on my head. Even with just a fan blowing, it felt instantly cooling. I don't use it much on my child, but when it was extremely hot, I tried it a couple of times. The first time, it slipped and caused a red mark like a small injury, but it didn't actually activate. If you hold it down for more than 0.3 seconds, the liquid drips down onto your forehead. Also, the cooling effect doesn't last very long. The price is a bit steep for me, to be honest. You need to apply it yourself. If someone else does it, you might get a head injury. Using this Cold Booster with a fan or air conditioning can make your head feel really chilly! - le*************Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsJul 6, 2023
Refreshing with a pleasant scent. Compact size makes it convenient to carry around. Feels sticky and hurts when pressed onto the skin. Causes itching where applied. Not great value for money. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2022
The cooling effect lasts quite a while, and the scent isn't irritating. This is the worst beauty product I've ever used, hands down. Let me explain. I have a dry scalp and dry hair - the kind of scalp that people with oily scalps envy. When I first sprayed it on my head after shaking the bottle, I thought I'd found heaven. The cooling sensation lasted incredibly long. But that's where the dream ended. As the essence and cooling gas hit my scalp, things went downhill fast. White foam appeared, and I thought rubbing it in would do the trick. Boy, was I wrong. My hands became sticky, and the essence on my scalp didn't dry quickly, leaving my hair a matted mess. The long-lasting cooling effect, which should be a plus, is overshadowed by too many inconveniences. I only saw bloggers' warnings about not using it for more than 3 seconds in one spot after I'd already bought and used it. I hoped it might improve once the essence dried, but no such luck. Even one spray left the crown of my head matted, forcing me to wash my hair again. This product might be meant for those who sweat profusely, enough to drench their hair. Please, please read this review. I beg you not to fall for the social media ads like I did and make the same mistake. Do not buy this! Especially if you have even the slightest hint of an oily scalp - absolutely avoid purchasing this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 27, 2022
The cooling effect is great, so it should be perfect for soothing a hot scalp in summer. They say it's good for preventing hair loss, but I'm not sure about that. While it absorbs well, it's hard to control the amount. My hair ends up feeling damp every time, which is frustrating. - vk*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2021
The unique scent lasted long enough to keep my scalp from smelling. I bought this cooling product because my scalp tends to get hot, but it's not refreshing at all. It's so sticky that I'm afraid to spray it. It's really disappointing. - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessJul 21, 2021
It cools down nicely. When you press it on your head, the essence comes out, and after about 30 seconds, your scalp feels incredibly refreshed. While the cooling sensation doesn't last extremely long, the temperature in that area drops significantly for a minute or two. I bought this for my husband, who tends to overheat, for our summer vacation outings. The spray nozzle design is great too. I love that when you press it firmly against your head to spray, the nozzle shape provides a nice acupressure effect. The amount control could be better. It dispenses less product than expected. To be precise, it's not so much an issue with the amount control, but rather the lack of information on how much to apply for optimal use. This makes it confusing every time I use it. Contrary to what I hoped for, it doesn't release a cool gas or air, but rather a water-like essence. It doesn't absorb on its own, so you need to rub it in with your hands, which feels a bit unhygienic when you're outdoors... From limited use, it doesn't seem to make hair greasy, but I'll update on whether it causes buildup after more frequent use outdoors. The size is a bit large for outdoor use. While it's lightweight, it won't fit into a small bag. Since it releases a cooling essence, if you apply it to areas with thicker hair, it tends to stick more to the hair and less to the scalp. For a more cooling effect, it's better to spray it on areas where it can reach the scalp more directly, like the parting or the back of the head. - rh****Dry SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2021
When you spray it on, your scalp feels incredibly refreshed. I'm using it because it's supposed to be good for the scalp. The product is reasonably priced and perfect for modern-day people, isn't it?
