Since propolis ingredients generally work well for me, I had been using Sidmool's propolis ampoule. But I wanted to try an essence instead, so I chose this product due to its generous volume and reasonable price. I especially liked that it's highly concentrated (many other propolis products are quite pricey for their concentration). The absorption is decent - I'm satisfied that it doesn't feel overly sticky.
At first, it seemed fine, but when my skin barrier weakened from neglect, I started to notice a slight irritation as I continued using it. I can't figure out why this is happening, especially with such good ingredients. Maybe there are too many ingredients? Just speculating... It's frustrating that it's hard to use up the remaining product. From about 1/5 left, the pump becomes difficult to use and doesn't dispense well. Also, the brown bottle makes it hard to see how much is left.
If you have a weak skin barrier or sensitive skin, make sure to request a sample from the website and test it before purchasing!
