The color was more intense than I expected, so even when applied over lipstick, it didn't fade or become dull. In fact, the clear red shade made my previous lip color pop even more! And of course, it was wonderfully hydrating. Everything else is great, but the taste has that typical American lip gloss flavor, which can be a bit distracting when drinking beverages. It works well as a final step, like a lip gloss. It's also great on its own for a natural look.

The paint tube-like design is really cute. The scent felt artificial and I didn't like it. If it were mango, a sweet scent would be nice, but this one was slightly off-putting. Personally, the product itself felt like it was on par with Korean roadshop products from the 2010s. The color payoff is poor, and for a lip balm, it's not very moisturizing. It's also overpriced for what it offers. I didn't notice these issues when I tried it in-store, but after purchasing and using it regularly, I couldn't find many positives, so I stopped using it.
