I occasionally get one or two blemishes when I drink alcohol or feel stressed. - Usage: I used this for 3 weeks, cleansing morning and evening. For reference, I double-cleansed at night using a charcoal soap from Sidmool and the popular Houttuynia Cordata soap, working up a rich lather. I bought this product along with a toner because I was using Sidmool's all-in-one before, but my face felt too tight due to the winter weather. I didn't smoke at all and didn't drink any alcohol during these 3 weeks. Before applying this in the morning, I used Sidmool's men's toner. 1. Absorption: This is why I switched from Sidmool's all-in-one. When I apply this emulsion after the toner, it feels like it spreads well and absorbs into the skin... but, well, more on that in the cons section. 2. Brightening?: Like the previous all-in-one, it seems good for brightening when used with the toner... but... The scent is pleasant, the price is reasonable, it dispenses well from the bottle, and the consistency is just right. However...
Cons1. Blemishes: I couldn't pinpoint the exact cause. Despite keeping external factors, environmental conditions, timing, and nutrition consistent, I kept getting one or two blemishes on my chin. I can't definitively say whether it's due to this product or something else, so please keep that in mind. 2. The biggest drawback - tightness: I'm not sure if it's because of the toner or this product, so I'm mentioning it here too. Especially around the eyes, it feels very tight. It's a different sensation from the overall tightness I felt when using the all-in-one before. It's like the skin around my eyes is hardening, and if I stretch it with my hand, it almost feels like my skin is tearing (I'm exaggerating a bit). Other areas are fine though. Oh, and while I didn't feel any burning sensation after applying the toner, I do feel a slight burning or tingling after applying the emulsion. I wonder if it doesn't suit my skin... but it's not even on the T-zone or U-zone, just around the eyes... this is tricky...
TipSidmool products generally feel gentle (though this can vary from person to person, and there's usually an adjustment period when switching skincare products), but it seems to differ for each person and each product. It's best to try it out first and then make a judgment. This review is from a 32-year-old single man. -- Additional review after 3 more weeks of use: The burning sensation and tightness around the eyes have disappeared, and I haven't had any new acne breakouts. It might have been an adjustment period for the product, or my skin adapting to the new water after moving... Anyway, I'm using it well now! But I thought there wouldn't be an adjustment period since I was using Sidmool's all-in-one before...
