This is my winter salvation item! I have dry skin, so my skin lacks moisture, but when I use this product, it feels like the oil and moisture are properly balanced and absorbed into my skin. The packaging may look a bit rustic, but it's fine since it's a seed-based product. - jm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2025
Hydration: As someone with dry skin who often feels parched, I prioritize moisturization. This cream worked wonders even during winter and seasonal changes. Texture: It applies more silkily than other creams! I really loved how smoothly it glides on. Ingredients: I appreciate that it contains functional ingredients like Centella Asiatica extract, EGF, and FGF, while still maintaining a gentle formulation. I tried this cream because Sidmool products generally have great ingredients, and I'm quite satisfied with it! I'm now curious to try their lighter Madagascar cream version for summer. Although I have dry skin, I found it a bit too rich for mornings or hot days, which was slightly disappointing. On such occasions, I either apply a thin layer or opt for a lighter cream. While it's rich in oils, I noticed it could use a bit more hydration. I'd recommend using it alongside a toner or another soothing cream to replenish moisture levels. - mi******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 29, 2025
The way it absorbs, its ingredients, and overall application are all excellent. I've been using it consistently for quite some time now. I wish the hydration would last a bit longer, especially since I have dry skin. - bo*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 14, 2025
I have dry skin. In winter, when I used to apply regular moisturizers and go about my day or sleep, the deep dryness was no joke. After that, I started browsing the Hwahae app to find a moisturizer with the best ingredients possible, which led me to purchase this one. It arrived today, and when I applied it in the afternoon, I felt like it was a destined encounter. I think this cream will be my go-to for winters from now on. Before applying makeup, I might need to use a lighter cream due to the rich feeling this one leaves on the skin. - th*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 28, 2024
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt my usual products weren't enough for winter, so I bought this. I'm satisfied because it seems to tackle my deep dryness effectively. The tube design is a bit... I wish it was as sleek as an ampoule design. - dj********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 19, 2024
It's a white cream-type product with a subtle artificial scent, almost unscented. The rich texture seems to provide good skin protection during winter. It applies smoothly, initially feeling hydrating before forming a protective oil barrier. No eye irritation or stickiness. I wouldn't recommend this for those who dislike heavy-feeling products or have super sensitive skin, as it forms an oily layer upon application. It might feel too heavy for summer use. It's great for applying to areas with deep dryness in winter. The hydration level is a bit low, so it works well when layered over a more hydrating product to lock in moisture effectively. - yu*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 11, 2024
It's decent to use in winter temperatures around 10°C (50°F). For temperatures below that, it's not bad when combined with an oil. Personally, I find it pairs well with Sidmool's Tamanu oil and rosehip-related oils. Squalane feels too greasy and just adds excess oil. Sidmool provides me with a great hydrating base, but it can feel dry when used below 7°C (45°F). However, applying too much can make your skin feel oily. Using a small amount is fine, but it's challenging to achieve the right oil and moisture balance. It's really difficult to find a suitable cream for sub-zero temperatures below 10°C (50°F). It leaves too much oil on my skin. It's hard to balance the oil and moisture, leaving my face feeling dry with just a layer of oil. Sigh... It seems okay for use from autumn to early winter though. - ha*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedNov 28, 2024
I like its rich texture. It's great for winter use. It feels a bit too shiny... I think the blue Madagascar one might be better? - ia********Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 27, 2024
As someone with oily skin, this is an essential moisturizer for seasonal changes and winter. It's hydrating and has a nice, bouncy texture. I can't think of any downsides. It hasn't caused any blemishes and the overall experience is great.
