I'm still using them and loving the experience! The generous 500ml size is a plus. With spearmint, tea tree, and menthol extracts, it leaves my scalp feeling incredibly refreshed. After consistent use for over a month, I've had no itchy scalp or visible dead skin cells - I'm thoroughly satisfied. What's most reassuring is that it's made with plant-derived surfactants. Definitely repurchasing and highly recommend!
ConsThis isn't a perfume-like hair product; it has a strong menthol and tea tree scent. If you're someone who prioritizes fragrance in your hair care, you might find the scent polarizing.

The price-to-volume ratio, or value for money, is good. I bought it because the ingredients are said to be of good quality. As for effectiveness, it's so-so - don't set your expectations too high. It feels smooth immediately after use, but the effect doesn't seem to last long. There's a slippery feeling, so you need to rinse several times when washing it out. By the way, I noticed that Difa recently explained this in their 2022 Hair Treatment Top of Top list, giving it a C grade.
ConsPersonally, I don't like the scent. It's similar to peppermint, but also reminds me of a mild medicinal patch smell, which I found unpleasant. It's likely to be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of fragrance. In this case, I think it would be better if it were unscented.

The ingredients are great too. Overall, it's quite nice!
ConsIt has a strong peppermint scent, which isn't exactly what I'd call fragrant.

When I won, I thought it might be fate... Now I'm finally writing a review after using it a few times. As someone with super sensitive skin on my scalp, I can immediately tell if a product is gentle or not. Despite containing menthol, I liked the cool yet mild texture. I had been receiving treatment for scalp inflammation, and I noticed the redness in that area was reducing, which made me determined to continue using it. While I'll need to use it longer to know for sure, it's the best scalp treatment I've tried so far. I can see why it's #1 on Hwahae! The large size means it'll last a while, and I'll likely order more when I run out. If you're like me and prone to scalp inflammation with a sensitive scalp that tends to get hot, I highly recommend giving this a try!
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides for me. I have a lot of heat on my scalp, so I enjoyed the cool menthol scent, but it might be a matter of personal preference for others! However, because it gives a refreshing feeling, I'm also a fan of this aspect.

I'm considering adding an update to my review after a month. First off, I appreciate the generous amount of product. While I don't use treatment as often or as much as shampoo, it's convenient to have a larger quantity that lasts until it runs out, rather than having to buy it separately. Secondly, it's not overly rich. Let's be honest, many treatments are packed with ingredients and silicones to dramatically improve hair texture. While that silky-smooth feeling is nice, it always left me feeling like I'd coated my hair with something unnatural. This product doesn't promise instant, dramatic changes, but it does seem to gently envelop each strand, leaving a calm, soothed impression. I usually use about 3-4 pumps. Some people mentioned the amount dispensed was too little, but I found it perfect. I apply it section by section - front, crown, back, and sides - so the amount per pump works well for each area. (The pump can be locked by turning it, which seems really handy for travel or when not in use!)
ConsI originally requested this product for scalp care, but the instructions only mention applying it to the hair ends and waiting. This left me confused about whether it's meant for the scalp or if it should be used like a regular treatment. For now, I'm just applying it to my hair. The scent is definitely going to be a love-it-or-hate-it situation. It has a cool, menthol-like fragrance. While it doesn't seem artificially scented, it's not a fragrance I particularly enjoy.

However, the Nad Sensitive Treatment, with its focus on 'scalp care', was surprisingly comfortable to use! I had many concerns beforehand, but they turned out to be unnecessary. Even for oily hair types, it doesn't feel greasy or heavy! The treatment has a subtle mint and peppermint scent with a slightly cooling sensation, but it's not overwhelming. It's perfect for summer use, leaving your scalp feeling refreshed. Most importantly, my hair became incredibly soft. Although I haven't used it for long, as soon as I applied this product, my tangled hair straightened out as if by magic. I was truly amazed - it's absolutely fantastic and I'm extremely satisfied. Another great feature is the pump, which has separate 'open' and 'stop' settings, preventing accidental spills. I appreciated this thoughtful design.
ConsIt can be a bit tricky to figure out how much product to use. Also, those who dislike minty scents might find the fragrance a bit polarizing!

Rinsing it out after 5 minutes, the softness was undeniable. True to its ingredients, the slightly acidic formula caused no irritation to my scalp. If you have brittle hair from frequent root touch-ups, coloring, or long-term perms, this product seems like it could really help with hydration and shine.
ConsWith six herbs and menthol, the scent is less like typical herbal fragrances and more reminiscent of medicinal ingredients (not traditional herbal medicine, but more like Western medicine) due to the angelica and mugwort extracts. This might be hit or miss for some. Personally, I wish they'd emphasize the good ingredients while opting for a fresher, more herbal scent. The texture was great, but I deducted one star because of the fragrance.
TipFor an extra boost, try applying the treatment before your shower, covering your hair with a shower cap or plastic wrap, then showering as usual. The steam effect enhances absorption, leaving your hair feeling even softer.

Though it's meant for hair, when you use it on wet hair, some inevitably gets on your scalp - and it feels amazing! It's like a cool scalp massage. After rinsing, your hair feels noticeably moisturized and soft. Even when blow-drying, it remains smooth!
ConsFirst, the intensely cool minty scent might be polarizing. It's not harsh, but it really clears your sinuses! Also, the pump's opening is quite narrow, dispensing small amounts. You need to pump it hard several times, which can be tiring. Lastly, the texture is quite thick. While fine for summer, I'm concerned it might solidify in colder weather or not absorb well, potentially leaving residue on the hair. I'll need to keep using it to see how it performs long-term.
TipTo maximize the treatment's effectiveness, I follow this routine: shampoo, apply treatment, shower, then rinse out the treatment. After shampooing, I focus on applying the treatment to my hair, leaving it on while I shower to allow it to absorb. When I rinse it out post-shower, my hair feels more hydrated and softer compared to rinsing it out immediately after application!

About 25cm long below the shoulder line 2. Thick hair volume 3. Fine hair strands 4. Stiff and tangled ends 5. No scalp inflammation or sensitivity *Daily routine: Shampoo -> Treatment (ends only) -> Hair essence (ends only) *During The Hwahae Testers period: Applied treatment to entire hair, skipped hair essence *I've included a size comparison photo with my current 1500ml large shampoo bottle Positives: 1. The menthol ingredient gives a cooling sensation after washing 2. Despite summer sweat, my hair doesn't get greasy quickly 3. Less tangling when drying, reducing the need for constant brushing 4. The 500ml size seems like it will last longer than expected
ConsDrawbacks: 1. The scent might be polarizing. I expected a fragrant herb aroma from the 6 herbal extracts, but it has a strong minty scent. It's not overpowering, but it completely masks my preferred floral shampoo scent after treatment, which is disappointing 2. One pump dispenses too little product. I need to pump at least 5 times for my hair length 3. Hair feels soft when wet, but becomes slightly stiff again when dry 4. Haven't found a compelling reason to repurchase yet. It's not a bad product, but I might need more time to discover its true benefits
TipNot exactly a pro tip, but... I noticed that the more you massage the treatment into your hair, the silkier it becomes. So make sure to work it in thoroughly!

I've tried many treatments before, but this was my first scalp care treatment. Having blemish-prone, oily skin, I was hesitant to apply it to my scalp, so I only used it on my hair. When I first smelled it, it had an unexpectedly healthy scent for a hair product, which made me wonder if it would actually soften my hair. While it did make my hair softer, I didn't notice the same calming effect as with other products. However, I realize that might be unfair to expect, since this product is sulfate and silicone-free, specifically designed for scalp health. The best part was that using it didn't cause any blemishes on my back or chest! This makes me feel confident enough to try it on my scalp next time. I often get blemishes from rich hair products, so I only use hair oil on special occasions. Not having any skin reactions is a huge plus!!!
ConsFirst off, I was shocked by the scent when I received the product... I'm not usually sensitive to fragrances, even in facial cosmetics, but this initial smell was like, how should I put it, an ammonia-like scent that really hit my nose? After calming down and giving it another sniff, it seemed more like tea tree and mint. It would have been a refreshing scent for a shampoo, but this is a treatment that I won't be applying to my scalp. As someone who prefers pleasant fragrances for hair products (even if I'm a bit wary of strong scents in facial products), I worried about this smell lingering after drying. Thankfully, once my hair dried, only the shampoo scent remained. That's a relief at least. Also, the pump is really inconvenient. It doesn't press down smoothly, and it doesn't dispense much product at once. If you have thick or long hair, you'll probably need to pump it many times!
