It's great for using before morning makeup as it helps control sebum. At first I was surprised that it wasn't moisturizing even though it's a water-type, but it doesn't dry out in a pulling way - it leaves a soft, powdery finish. And it helps give the same soft, powdery finish to other products I apply on top of it.
