It's a water-based essence with a slight viscosity, making it easy to apply with minimal stickiness. The price is reasonable considering the niacinamide content. You can get it even cheaper during special promotions. There's nothing to complain about. It doesn't cause blemishes and the user experience is quite good. - sk********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 2, 2025
I bought this for its skin-brightening ingredients, though I haven't noticed any dramatic effects yet. Since it's supposed to have good ingredients, I'll keep using it consistently. While the bottle seems small, a little goes a long way - it spreads easily over the entire face, so it should last longer than I expected. If you apply too much, it tends to pill on the skin. You'll need to be careful with the amount you use. Since it can pill when used alone, I mix it with my regular toner for better application. - a0**********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 31, 2025
I bought this because I heard niacinamide is great for brightening. It absorbs well into the skin and isn't irritating, so I think it'll be easy to use regularly. There's not much to complain about, but the packaging was a bit inconvenient. I think you'll get even better results if you apply a vitamin C serum first, then layer this product on top for added synergy. - sl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 30, 2025
I used the 10% version and liked it, so I bought the 20% one. Not sure about the effects yet, but I'm hopeful it'll be good. I can't tell the difference yet. I hope it'll work well as I keep using it. There's a very slight tingling sensation. - ch******Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 28, 2025
Among products with 20% niacinamide, this is one of the most recommendable when considering overall value, ingredient composition, and user experience Due to the high niacinamide content, you may experience some irritation - ro****Oily SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2025
The ability to use a 20% niacinamide ampoule at an affordable price is great. It's a decent niacinamide ampoule. It was fairly usable. I didn't experience any noticeable irritation. The bottle design was user-friendly, which I appreciated. There seemed to be a white powdery residue at the product opening. When applying even a few extra drops, a white powdery appearance was visible on the outer parts of the face, which was a bit off-putting. I wondered if the product hadn't dissolved properly or if its stability was somewhat compromised. My guess is it's niacinamide powder, and considering how nano-technology is trending these days for better absorption, this aspect was disappointing. Honestly, I think I preferred the other niacinamide ampoule from Isoi. It made me realize that a higher concentration of niacinamide doesn't necessarily mean better results. To be clear, the performance didn't meet expectations given the concentration, but the price and overall performance were still acceptable. - mj******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 21, 2025
It improves skin texture when used. However, daily use caused some blemishes, so I'm using it every 2-3 days now. Compared to Paula's Choice, it felt slightly more irritating. Still, considering the price, it's quite effective. Just make sure to absorb it well, or it might pill. The irritation level is high for sensitive skin to use daily. You need to monitor your skin condition closely to see good results with this product! If not absorbed well, it can leave a white residue. But this seems common for most high-concentration niacinamide products. - kj*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 15, 2025
1. Effective for oil control (except during summer) 2. Smoothens skin texture 3. Gives a slight impression of minimized pores 4. Slightly brightens areas with pigmentation For oily skin, it's too hydrating for use in midsummer. Personally, I use niacinamide for oil control, but it's ironic that this product feels a bit sticky and greasy, making it unusable in midsummer when oil control is crucial. Due to its intense hydration, it was too heavy for summer use, so I diluted it to 5% in a toner with high alcohol content for a refreshing feel. For those who find the texture uncomfortable, I recommend mixing it with another toner. - hv*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2024
I can feel my skin texture improving as I use it. It's great that it's not sticky at all. The only downside is that the amount is small, so I use it up quickly. - mi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 31, 2024
Despite being an essence, it has a refreshing texture similar to a toner. It seemed a bit concentrated to use alone, so I mixed it with an emulsion before applying. While there wasn't a dramatic improvement in skin tone after one use, I believe it could be beneficial with consistent use. I used it without any blemishes and it worked well overall. If there's any drawback to ISOI products, it might be the limited number of places to purchase them. However, it's a brand I like because they offer many effective, budget-friendly products.
