Pros
I used this product twice and I really liked it. It was a product that helped with my dry skin issues, and after trying a sample, I decided to buy the full-size product, which was a first for me. On days when my skin was really dry, applying it two or three times really helped address the issue.

My skin is extremely dry, so I really need to use an essence. But even if I diligently use toners or pads beforehand, the moment I apply this product, my skin becomes stabilized!!

My original skin is not very high, but this is much gentler than toner. It applies very smoothly and densely, and I'm really satisfied with it. Also, my face doesn't feel dry or tight all day long.

I was so surprised that my skin became so soft and smooth in just one day. I could feel that my skin had been heavily stressed during the summer. So I used soothing masks frequently, but when I won the Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I was really amazed that the tightness of my skin decreased and my face became so soft and smooth in the morning after cleansing. I accidentally found a holy grail product!!! The formula is just the right amount of lightweight and absorbs really well.

The weather has been very hot and scorching during the day, but it gets cold in the evening, with a large temperature difference that can easily make the skin sensitive these days. Since it's hot during the day, I feel reluctant to use heavy-textured products when going out in the morning, and I don't yet feel the need for them. This essence water is thicker than a toner but much more fluid than a lotion, and it thoroughly addresses the inner dryness from the first step of skincare, so there's no burden when applying products on top of it. With its light and smooth texture, the abundant nourishment is a real advantage. The absorption is excellent - just lightly patting it with the hands makes it sink in quickly, leaving a soft, supple feel. I think this alone can solve the issue when I don't want to use a rich essence. It's not heavy or sticky at all. While I'll need to use it more to properly evaluate the skin barrier strengthening and resilience, as someone who really loves centella, the fact that it contains 4 types of centella extracts says it all. After using it morning and evening for about 10 days, my skin feels firmer from within, and I haven't had any troubles so far. I had an issue with a face mask I used recently, leaving some redness on my cheeks, but the discoloration seems to have improved a bit. I have combination skin that is also on the drier side. I don't like applying a lot of heavy, sticky products, but I always end up cleansing, applying serum, and then cream... The multiple steps make it feel very thick and heavy. But then I discovered the Calming Biotics Essence Water, and this one product alone makes my skin feel so moisturized and supple without any tightness. After just 3 days of using it, my skin looked so glowy and healthy, even without makeup! I was lucky enough to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and try this, and even after finishing the bottle, I plan to personally purchase and continue using this product. It may not be as watery as some toners, but it absorbs so well into my skin - I highly recommend it.
