On the second day of use, the area around my eyes and cheeks became red and itchy. It happened on a day when I had been rubbing my eyes a lot, so I think the alcohol content in this essence might have caused irritation. I should have only applied it to my nose or forehead instead of my entire face.

I used the free sample. It's refreshing and absorbs well into the skin. I think it would be great to use when it's hot outside.
