The Dokdo Toner, Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner (winter edition), and Dr.G Moisturizing Cream worked well for me. Since my face isn't usually dry but tends to get oily, I don't spray this mist constantly, just after toner. Texture: After toner, when I spray this mist and let it absorb, it feels like a very thin layer of yogurt has been applied, creating a slight film as it sets. It has a water-like consistency. There's no stickiness, it finishes with a soft matte feel, leaving the skin feeling slightly velvety and matte. It doesn't add shine to the skin. In fact, it seems to control the glow from a dewy toner application. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a subtle mist. Oil control: There's no oiliness. Even if your skin becomes dewy and slightly shiny after applying a hydrating toner, this mist will make your skin feel more set and semi-matte. I usually experience an oil explosion on my skin over time, but this product seemed to control my deep dryness, resulting in less oil production. Highly recommended for oily skin types who hate excess oil! Absorption: The absorption is really impressive. It absorbs quickly with just a light pat after spraying. Who would like a product that takes 40 seconds to absorb and requires vigorous patting when you're feeling dry during the day? It's really simple and fast, which I love. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes easy, quick, and simple products! Spray: The particles are very fine, though occasionally you might get a larger droplet. Scent: I have a sensitive nose, but I hardly noticed any scent. It wasn't bothersome at all. The slight film it creates seems to prevent the moisture from the toner from evaporating too quickly. Recommended for combination dehydrated skin! No blemishes appeared! My small bumps even seemed to decrease. I think it's because this reduces oil while preserving moisture. Recommended for acne-prone skin! The packaging is really pretty!
ConsThe film-like feeling it creates might cause your makeup to pill if you spray it before applying cosmetics. When I rubbed my skin lightly after spraying this, it pilled a bit like dead skin... It doesn't work well with makeup. I especially don't recommend using it if you want to maintain dewiness during makeup application. I'm planning to use it only on makeup-free days or for night care. If you use it after makeup, it might be different, but if you use a dewy foundation, it might reduce your skin's glow. It didn't feel particularly hydrating. It felt more like it was trapping and protecting the skin's existing moisture with a thin layer. Still, I think it would be great for winter when the heater is on. Other than these, I haven't noticed any particular drawbacks yet.
TipI'm using it on my body too! It's great to use during the basic skincare routine. Since it doesn't work well with makeup, use it for night care only! I use it in this order: exfoliating toner → toner → mist → moisturizer. Since it sprays over a wide area, I recommend spraying it close to your face.
