I've been trying various products from the One Shot line, and Malotus is pretty good too! It feels clean on the skin and doesn't cause any blemishes - that's great! I especially love its pore care effect. Even though it has a single ingredient and a 6-month shelf life after opening, I use it up quickly by applying it directly, wiping it off, or leaving it on as a mask. It's very watery, so I tend to apply it multiple times. I often end up applying it about 3 times. Soaking a cotton pad and leaving it on your face as a mask is really effective too! - ju**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
I loved how it balanced moisture and controlled sebum, keeping my face from getting oily or breaking out I was so satisfied with it that I couldn't find any downsides to using it - ru*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2024
The watery texture of this toner made it great for a refreshing exfoliating routine. It's said to contain ingredients that help minimize pores. As someone with naturally dry skin, I definitely noticed it felt more drying compared to other toners. It's just plant extracts, so I didn't notice any significant effects, but I feel it's decent value for the price. - db*******Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 17, 2024
It's a water-based toner that feels light and hydrating. Being a single-ingredient product, it's great for worry-free use with no irritation. While it's difficult to see noticeable effects on pores with cosmetics alone, I decided to try this because tannins are said to be beneficial for pores. The product itself had no drawbacks, but considering the price plus shipping costs... I probably won't repurchase. - th****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 11, 2024
It absorbs quickly, leaving a fresh feeling without any stickiness! The scent isn't overpowering. I suppose the price is the main issue? While it might last a while as a hydrating toner, it's quite expensive to use as an exfoliating toner. I mixed it with other toners and used it as an exfoliating toner, which works well since it's compatible with other products. - ma***Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 22, 2023
* I have combination dehydrated skin with blackheads, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and blemishes. I heard that tannin is good for pore tightening, so while looking for products, I decided to try this toner. With so many ampoules out there, I thought a lightweight, easily absorbed toner would be a good option. It has a scent that disappears quickly, and it's hard to describe... Anyway, it's not bothersome and it's a completely watery toner. It claims to have sebum-absorbing properties, but when my skin was extremely dry during seasonal changes, it seemed to make the dryness worse. So I stopped using it for a while. After resolving the deep dryness, I started using it again and didn't feel any particular dryness, so I've been using it continuously. Due to neglecting skincare in summer, I'm experiencing rapid aging, so I'm trying to do something about it this winter. This is one of the pore-firming products I'm using. I'm not sure about its effectiveness, but I'm using it lightly, thinking it's better than not using anything at all. Since it's a watery toner with a single ingredient, it's not burdensome to add it as an extra step in my skincare routine. I wish there was no shipping fee. It would be nice if they had big sales once in a while. - ir*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDec 4, 2023
As someone with redness and super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any tingling or burning sensation. I appreciate that it has a single main ingredient! The downside is that I had to pause using it during this seasonal change as my skin condition wasn't great. I kept getting small blemishes... I'm not sure yet if it's beneficial for my pores. It might be better to temporarily stop using it when your skin isn't in good condition. - gy*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2023
100% Phellodendron amurense extract! I used this as the first step in my skincare routine to tighten pores. I really liked the single-ingredient composition and the subtle natural plant scent. It didn't cause any blemishes, so I plan to use it consistently! It's disappointing that the Hwahae discount wasn't very high and there was no free shipping option. - jj******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 24, 2023
It applies smoothly without any stickiness, and despite being a pore care skin product, it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry. As expected, one shouldn't have high hopes for pore care products. The effects are minimal. - ra*********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2023
I bought this product because I liked that it has a single ingredient. However, due to itching and developing small bumps after use, I couldn't appreciate any positive effects. As someone with super sensitive skin, I immediately develop blemishes if there's an ingredient that doesn't suit me. I purchased this along with the same brand's snail extract product, which I'm using well. Unfortunately, it seems the Mallotus ingredient doesn't agree with my skin, which is disappointing.
