Even though it comes back, it really does seem to brighten visibly. While it returns to normal when not used, this is the first product I've used that has had such an obvious effect.

It doesn't have a heavy, sticky feeling. It has a moisturizing, oily stickiness, but I initially applied too much, making it sticky. I need to adjust the amount and apply it in layers, building it up over several days. I'll try using it on my sandal-marked feet, short-sleeved shirt marks, the backs of my hands, and the back of my neck. Addition: The fragrance is wonderful, and I love the aroma of scented geranium. It was moisturizing even though it was dry. It felt plump from when I applied it in the morning until I went to bed at night. Rather than seeing a noticeable change in the short term, I felt that it gradually became brighter the more I used it consistently, which I could see in the photos.
Cons

My skin had tanned quite a bit during spring, summer, and fall (the color difference between my belly and hands, and the gradation getting darker from my arms to shoulders down... haha), but after using it consistently for about 2 bottles, my skin tone has improved to be as good as when I didn't tan! However, I didn't quite get the feeling of it becoming more radiant.
Cons
When I apply the lotion, it feels very sticky, so I can't put on clothes right away... I have to let the stickiness dry first before wearing, which makes it less uncomfortable...

I bought it thinking I'd be fooled this summer, but I was indeed fooled. If you want to buy it for tanned skin recovery or whitening, I'm against it. It's not even a cheap price, and it would be better to get a white tanning treatment...
