Personally, I felt that the usage was more comfortable than the Dr. G one. There was less irritation, and my skin didn't feel dry after the peeling, so I think this would be a good option for those of you who suffer from skin inflammation or have sensitive skin. The exfoliation felt gentle, and my skin felt more comfortable compared to when I used other products. Although it doesn't remove 100% of the dead skin, it does a decent job, so I was satisfied using it! (Those with healthy skin might find this aspect a bit lacking, but as someone with skin inflammation and sensitivity, I can't handle overly aggressive exfoliation😂)
ConsIn my opinion, it has a slight scent of old nail polish + a tiny bit of alcohol. I'm not very sensitive to scents, so it didn't bother me much, but those with a keen sense of smell might find it a bit irritating.
TipAfter peeling, use a hydrating and moisturizing mask or modeling pack to soothe your skin.

I personally liked this aspect, but some may find it too runny or water-like. Packaging: The packaging is simply clean and minimalist, which I really like. It looks very neat and clean. After exfoliation: My skin felt so incredibly soft and smooth!!! Even when I used it while on my period and my skin was very sensitive, this product did not cause any irritation, redness, or sensitivity. And after deep cleansing, using this peeling gel also helped remove blackheads a bit more effectively. The peeling process is gentle, and leaves my skin feeling 'moisturized and soft' afterwards. Repurchase intent: Yes, I would repurchase this.
ConsMany people say the product has an alcohol-like scent, and yes, that's true. Those sensitive to fragrances may want to avoid it, but for me, the scent went away after washing. Also, be careful not to squeeze the product out of the packaging too hard at first - it comes out a lot!

This is a gommage-type peeling gel! Even with acne-prone skin, it provided peeling without irritation :) It has a pure, chemical-free feel. It was good that it could be used on sensitive skin as well. By gently massaging for about 30 seconds, the gommage helps remove dead skin cells, and you can definitely feel your skin texture becoming more refined immediately! I used it consistently 3 times a week! I made sure to use it especially on days with heavy makeup.
ConsThe downside was that it had a strange alcohol-like scent that was a bit unpleasant.

I have allergic/atopic/combination/acne scars/sensitive skin. Pros: Ingredients - Since my skin is very sensitive, I always check the Hwahae app before buying any cosmetics. The ingredients seem good, so I feel I can trust and use this product. Irritation - This is the most important factor when choosing a peeling gel. I usually avoid scrubs with granules as they are too irritating for my sensitive, atopic skin. This product has a soothing gel-like texture, and it gently exfoliates without causing any redness. Compared to the Dr.G product I was using before, this one seems less irritating, which I'm satisfied with. Design - The clean white design is also pleasing to me. ㅎㅎ I've only used the product three times so far as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, but I will continue using it and update my review later!
ConsScent - There's not much I dislike, but if I had to pick one, it would be the scent? The scent is kind of like alcohol or glue, which I don't really like. ㅠㅠ
TipDo you dislike irritating peeling products? I recommend this! Even those with atopic and sensitive skin like mine can use it. A small amount is enough for effective peeling, so you don't need to use much.

I didn't have to roll it for too long, and it came out evenly, which gave a refreshing feeling. It also seemed to exfoliate quickly.
ConsThe scent was a bit disappointing. It wasn't a pleasant fragrance, more like an alcoholic or medicinal smell. At first, I was like 'Hmm?' but after using it a few times, the strong scent wasn't as noticeable and became more manageable.
TipEven without water, you can gently roll it with just your fingertips, and the chemical peeling works well. I heard that using it too often, like three times, can actually irritate the skin, so it's best to do it once or twice a week. After the peeling, applying a light moisturizer and using a rubber pack helps soothe the skin and make it feel more hydrated.

Although I'm not sure if it's unscented, there are no added rose fragrances or other perfumes. 2. Unlike other peeling gels, it doesn't have a grainy or scratchy feel, but applies smoothly and soothingly like a gel. 3. When rolling it, it doesn't drip or clump up, but spreads evenly on the fingers like a cosmetic product. 4. Using it, you can really feel how gentle the product is, as there is hardly any irritation. 5. After washing my face, I'm amazed at how hydrated and smooth my skin feels, without any irritation.
Cons1. It may be unscented, but there's a slight sour or alcohol-like scent. It's not noticeable unless you bring it close to your nose, and doesn't bother me when I'm using it.

The exfoliation is quick and efficient without having to wait too long. When using other peeling gels, my skin often feels dry and dehydrated, but the Pyunggang Peeling Gel maintained moisture until the end and kept my skin feeling hydrated even after washing, which I really enjoyed^^
ConsThe scent has a strong alcohol-like odor and an unpleasant smell. Like other peeling gels, it tends to cling to the fine hairs and is difficult to remove ㅠㅠ
TipIt's best to try to avoid applying the gel on areas with hair, if possible^^

This is a review after using the product 3 times, which was recommended by the Hwahae Trial Reviewer. 1. The best thing about using it was that it is not irritating at all, and the texture and application are incredibly smooth!! The peeling products I had used before were quite irritating, causing my face to quickly become red and flushed. I just ignored it, thinking it was normal for exfoliating products. But this low-irritation gel formula, when massaged on a couple of times, sheds off the dead skin like eraser crumbs! 2. After using the product, not only did it provide great moisture and hydration, but it also absorbed into the skin without any irritation. By thoroughly removing the impurities and dead skin from my pores, my makeup applied much better the next day. 3. The peeling gel by Pyunkang Yul is made with really gentle ingredients, which gives me even more confidence in the product. That's why I'm planning to stick with this peeling gel - I'm so satisfied with it!
ConsThe downside is the smell... it's strange... It's not unscented, and it's not an alcohol smell either... it's an indescribable odor. It's fine when you dispense it, but when you're rolling it on, this odd smell starts to linger... Other than that, it's a satisfactory product!
TipSince it's low-irritation, it's suitable for use on sensitive skin as well. It's very hydrating, so I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. However, even though it's gentle, using it daily is a no-no! Once or twice a week is the ideal frequency!

When you apply it, there is no rough, granular feeling at all, and it feels soft, so I think it's a product that well utilizes the advantages of the gel-type texture. However, when squeezing it out, it's better to squeeze it onto a part that won't drip down like in the photo, rather than directly onto your fingers. It has about the same viscosity as aloe vera gel... it sticks, but it drips down. 🏷 Personally, I think it's a product that focuses on low-irritation and hydration, while still fulfilling the function of a peeling gel. So it's a product that is true to its core purpose. Therefore, if you're looking for a product that will gently exfoliate without any additional benefits like brightening or blackhead/whitehead removal, this would be a good match for your needs. If those additional functions were included, it would likely be more irritating to the skin.
ConsIt has a bit of an alcohol-like scent. It's not a pleasant fragrance, but I think it's better than having added fragrances, so it's not a major downside for me.
TipIt seems to use citric acid from the AHA family as the main exfoliating ingredient, and it's focused on hydration and moisture. AHA ingredients are water-soluble and are effective for skin regeneration and hydration, so they're good for dry or normal skin types. + Some reviewers mentioned wanting blackhead or whitehead removal, and for that, you'd want to look for BHA (oil-soluble) products instead. + Be careful when using this product with other active ingredients like vitamin C or retinol, as well as high-concentration AHA products, as they can increase sun sensitivity.

The formula is thin, and among the products I've tried, it is the least irritating. (Primera, Carezon) Just a light rolling motion is enough for the exfoliating gel and dead skin to come out together, which is quite satisfying. 2. It is not irritating even on acne. I had a huge pimple that day, so I was worried if I should still use the peeling, but it was gentle enough to use even on the slightly wounded area. I didn't feel any stinging when it touched the wound. It feels like the dead skin is melting away with the product. (This means it's that non-irritating) 3. My skin texture has improved. After exfoliating, I could clearly feel that the skin texture on my fingertips became smoother during skincare. It's so soft and smooth that I keep wanting to touch it. Overall: It exfoliates gently and non-irritatingly.
Cons1. It has an industrial alcohol-like scent. People sensitive to scents may find it unpleasant. It does go away once you get used to it, but before that, it feels like your nose is numbed. It's not severe, but it's uncomfortable. This off-putting scent is why I took off one star. 2. My skin felt taut after use. Even though I applied a rich moisturizer before bed, I still felt a slight dryness from within, which was disappointing. Those not sensitive to scents may find this product suitable.
TipRemoving the water on your face after cleansing will help the exfoliation work better.
