With oily skin and a scalp that's suffered from years of using drugstore shampoos, frequent hair dyeing, and not washing daily despite oiliness, I've been battling severe seborrheic dermatitis. Here's why I've chosen this one: 1. Reasonable price: 40,000 won for 1000ml Compared to other specialized shampoos that can cost over 100,000 won for the same amount, it's quite affordable. This makes it sustainable for long-term use, which is crucial for us budget-conscious folks! 2. Completely eliminates scalp odor after washing It truly lives up to this claim. There's absolutely no scalp odor right after shampooing, indicating it thoroughly removes scalp oils. 3. Almost eliminates itching, completely clears scalp acne While there's still a slight tingle due to dryness, it's not the maddening itch that makes you want to scratch intensely. Scalp acne has disappeared completely. 4. Hair doesn't get excessively greasy even a day after washing 5. Minimal scalp odor even a day after washing As someone who washes their hair daily at home, I can confirm the scalp odor is much less noticeable compared to other shampoos. 6. Pleasant, neutral scent It has a mild fragrance similar to unscented skincare products with a hint of grape candy. It's not overpowering at all, which is refreshing considering how strong some medicated shampoos can smell. 7. Surprisingly rich lather I've never found it uncomfortable to use while washing my hair.
ConsI bought this as it was the most affordable option among seborrheic dermatitis shampoos. It exceeded my expectations, but if I had more money or was more serious about improving my scalp condition, I might have opted for a pricier specialized shampoo. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've tried so far. One downside is that it leaves the hair very dry after shampooing. You absolutely need to use a conditioner afterwards.
TipShampoos specifically formulated for seborrheic dermatitis seem to be more effective than general anti-dandruff shampoos. Whether it's this product or another, I hope you find one that works for you. For those dealing with seborrheic dermatitis, it's crucial to massage the lather into your scalp thoroughly, leave it for 3 minutes, then rinse. This isn't just a suggestion, it's a must! Not removing excess oil from the scalp can lead to hair loss. A friend of mine was even advised by a hair loss clinic to wash twice daily due to excess oil production. Let's all work towards keeping hair loss and scalp odor at bay. You've got this!
