If the large capacity is a drawback, then it is not a drawback..? I even liked the way of using it by pushing it with my hand.

This lip balm is a life essential item. While a comfortable night is nice, I found this product to have a smoother application. And the beautiful, plastic-free packaging is a bonus.

It's great for use in the dry autumn and winter seasons. It also has excellent immediate effects on dry and tight skin.

As many have mentioned, I'm worried about it getting dented if I carry it around, what if it gets wet, and what if I accidentally push it in too hard and can't properly apply it.

I usually dislike the artificial texture of regular lipsticks and find the plastic cases wasteful, so I was curious to try a different vegan product. To my surprise, the color payoff is great, it lasts a long time, and it feels moisturizing. The ingredients are also impressive.

It's extremely inconvenient that the contents don't come out when you twist the cap, but instead you have to push the contents back into the container with your hand, and then close the lid.

The ingredients are very gentle and work well for my sensitive skin, which I really like.

It's too inconvenient to use. It's made with a concave shape, so when you first apply it, the edges end up crumbling. And you have to push it rather than twist it, so every time you use it, you have to push it and then push it back in with your mouth or hand. Sigh, I wonder why they made it this way.

So it's hard for me to pinpoint any true downsides, but I've included this since I felt I needed to list something in the 'Cons' section.

☝🏻 Incredibly beautiful and eco-friendly packaging

This is the first time I've encountered a lip balm with a paper package like this from Monage. The realistic endangered animal print on it is so pretty and cute.

The package clearly reflects Monage's brand image of being environmentally conscious, and I'm very satisfied with it.

Moreover, it has a unique design where you push down on the bottom - something I haven't seen in other lip balms! It's a bit of a hassle to put back in, but I think the environmental consideration makes up for this minor inconvenience.

☝🏻 Light and refreshing to use

As someone who applies lip balm frequently, I tend to avoid heavy formulas as they can feel unpleasant. Especially when eating food or drinking beverages, heavy lip balms can feel oily and unpleasant. But Monage's light texture doesn't bother me at all when I'm enjoying my meals, so I really appreciate that.

☝🏻 Stays on through the night

I'm the type to generously apply lip balm before bed, and this product manages to stay on my lips even when I wake up the next morning, despite its lightweight formula. 

If you dislike thick lip mask textures but still want overnight lip hydration, I'd highly recommend using this every night before bed. Just apply a generous amount, go to sleep, and in the morning you can wipe it off with a wet wipe for soft, smooth lips without any irritation.

✔️For those with cracked feet! At night, use Pyeonhan Night, and in the morning, apply Maeilbam and wear socks for the day. Your feet will become smooth.

✔️While the moisture is good, it doesn't have a coated feeling, so if you want extremely good moisture, I recommend using Pyeonhan Night!

It increases the size a bit, but there's less risk of losing the lid or damaging the case/contents.

If the size is too bulky, you can cut down a sample-sized jar and carry that around instead!
Since it melts easily with body heat, you can just swipe it on with a clean finger.
I refilled a sample jar from the Almaeng Shop in Mangwon-dong, Seoul. They sell 3g sizes too!

🐳 Case
The lid doesn't seal tightly like a typical lip balm, so it's a bit tricky to carry around. I just keep it on my desk and apply it whenever I can! That's enough for me.

I'm so happy and excited that the Monage product I've been using for years has finally made its way to Hwahae! The brand provides detailed product descriptions on Instagram and quickly shares event notices, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend their cleanser, lotion, and cream as well.

Compared to the initial lip balm, the texture has become incredibly soft. It melts quickly on the skin and applies smoothly. There's no grainy feeling, and the wide surface area makes it easy to apply to various areas.
The Maeilbam is a great daily product that can be applied lightly without feeling burdensome.

The paper case is quite sturdy, so I don't have to worry about it tearing easily. The cute raccoon photo is a bonus!
The sliding mechanism has become much smoother after the renewal, making it easy to use. I just gently slide it up and tap it back down to store it.
It's really not difficult to get used to at all!!

✨ Fragrance
The fragrance is neutral, similar to an ointment, which makes it comfortable to apply without any burden. I'm glad it's not artificially scented, which gives me more confidence in the product.
Many lip balms on the market have fragrances, so even if I liked the texture and application, I often didn't want to repurchase. But the Monage Maeilbam satisfies me in every aspect!

This product seems better suited for overnight use to provide long-lasting moisture, rather than for daily use. Try applying a generous amount to your lips or other dry areas before bed.

@ Usage experience
Even when applied to very dry areas, it has a slightly repelling feeling rather than absorbing well. When doing lip makeup, it needs to be wiped off and reapplied with other lip products, as the absorption is a bit slow. When applied to the backs of hands, it can transfer to other areas, so the absorption speed is a bit disappointing.

@ Case design inconvenient
I'm not sure if I'm using the case correctly, but the product part needs to be pushed up from the inner tube with my finger. There doesn't seem to be a way to push it back down, so I have to leave it extended to use. Otherwise, I'd have to press it against my lips or body to push it back in, which seems inconvenient compared to a typical lip balm stick.
