I had previously tried another brand's stretch mark cream. I tend to apply a generous amount and even follow up with oil, but I didn't experience any blemishes. Although I only use it on targeted areas, I was initially concerned about potential breakouts due to its rich formula. Fortunately, I didn't have any issues and used it comfortably. Like most stretch mark creams, it has a rich texture, and it's completely fragrance-free. The tube packaging is hygienic and convenient to use.
ConsHaving used another product before, I couldn't help but compare. Using the same amount, this cream felt thicker, which made it less pleasant to apply. While the thickness does provide a moisturizing feel, it doesn't absorb quickly, leaving a visible white residue. To fully absorb, it required more rubbing and patting. It definitely feels less slippery compared to other products.
TipNo matter how much cream you apply, since you're only using it on specific areas, I recommend finishing with oil for best results.

ConsHowever, it seems a bit too rich, leaving a slippery feeling that lingers for quite a while!

Even experts have acknowledged my skin's sensitivity. Although my stretch marks have long since turned white, I decided to give this product a try with hopeful expectations! First off, the scent is so subtle you might think it's unscented! I had to sniff closely to detect any fragrance, which means it won't clash with other scented products. The areas where I applied it feel moisturized and fresh! After showering, I noticed a clear difference between the treated and untreated skin. While it's not intensely hydrating, it does provide a decent level of moisture. It's not sticky at all! Stickiness is my main gripe with emulsions, but this product leaves my skin feeling soft and touchable. The texture is light and easy to apply - not thick at all. It's hard to describe... maybe like pudding? Anyway, it doesn't require much effort to spread. While quick results for stretch marks are unlikely, I'm impressed with the formula and how it feels. I plan to use it consistently going forward!
ConsThere's a slight slippery feeling left on your hands after application. Hmm... and this might vary from person to person, but it doesn't absorb immediately. You need to massage it in several times with small amounts. After just a couple of applications, it still looks white on the skin.
TipIt's better to apply thin layers rather than slathering on a thick amount at once. You can build it up without any discomfort or heaviness.

So, I tried Dermave Emulsion for the first time and loved it. Luckily, I also got selected as a Hwahae Tester for their stretch mark cream, which I used alongside the emulsion. I've had white stretch marks on my thighs and buttocks since my teenage years due to obesity. I didn't expect them to disappear completely, just hoping they'd fade a bit. I liked it so much that I bought another one when it went on sale! 1. Absorption: Despite being rich in nourishing ingredients, it absorbs well and isn't too thick. 2. Absorption rate: While many people said it doesn't absorb well, I found it fine. I applied the emulsion right after showering, then this stretch mark cream evenly on affected areas before bed. It absorbed enough while spreading that I had no discomfort putting clothes back on. 3. Hydration: Absolutely fantastic! During extreme cold, the Dermave Emulsion alone wasn't quite enough, but with this added, I felt no dryness at all. Completely satisfied! + I'm not particularly sensitive-skinned, but I do get occasional blemishes. I didn't experience any special breakouts while using this.
ConsThere's not much to dislike, but if I had to mention something, it's the slightly oily feeling left on hands after application. Also, being a stretch mark cream, it's hard to notice functional improvements in stretch mark reduction in a short time.
TipTry using it with Dermave Emulsion! It's often on sale, making it great value for money.

I think if you apply it consistently, it might help reduce stretch marks. Among body emulsions, I usually prefer and use Dermave the most, and this one definitely lives up to its reputation as a trustworthy product.
ConsThe texture is quite slippery, which makes it absorb, but it doesn't spread well. I personally don't like slippery formulations...
TipFor those expecting the familiar scent of the original Dermave body emulsion, be aware that this has a completely different fragrance. It's hard to describe precisely, but it has a subtle baby powder scent.
