My skin is soft and smooth. First of all, the scent is unique, like a spa or bathhouse. It's something special, but I'm a big fan. Every time I use it, the scent puts me in a good mood. It's slightly acidic, so there's no squeaky-clean feeling right after cleansing, which some may not like. But with continued use, you get used to it. However, those who really dislike that sensation should probably avoid it. No squeaky-clean effect. The cleansing power and overall usage experience are decent. Please do not discontinue this Avène product. I have very sensitive, dry, atopic, and acne-prone skin, and I've been using this product for around 7-8 years. I alternate between using Avène and Bioderma cleansing gels, and among the mildly acidic foams, this is the most moisturizing and cleansing one. When I get clogged pores, using this along with a body brush makes them subside in 2-3 days, and it also quickly improves back acne. It's moisturizing yet gentle, and rinses off well... it's the best. And the signature Avène scent is just wonderful.
Cons
All except the 100ml size container with a lid are good with a pump. Anyway, since I use the 400ml size, it's not too much of a hassle.
Tip
You can use it on both your face and body. Be sure to try this along with a body brush, especially when dealing with back acne concerns in the summer.

🩵 The cleansing gel has a mint color and is slightly acidic, so it doesn't provide deep cleansing, but I've been using it well as a morning facial wash. The scent is slightly refreshing, like cucumber or aloe, which I personally like. When rinsing the foam, it doesn't feel too squeaky clean, but leaves a bit of moisture while washing away the dust and sebum residue that built up overnight. :) I use an slightly alkaline cleanser in the evening, as just water washing in the morning leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied.
