It absorbs like a hydrating cream, spreading easily and absorbing well. It's perfect for summer use. In winter, it might not be enough even with a solid skincare routine. It feels cool when applied, but over time it causes a warming sensation and redness. Also, it made my face itchy, so I'll probably use it on my body instead. It could be a good substitute for body emulsion in the summer. - sw******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedApr 4, 2025
It's a translucent, non-sticky, and slightly powdery hydrating cream. It glides on smoothly, like spreading butter on your face, creating a protective layer on the skin. However, I feel like if I apply makeup right after using this, it might cause pilling. So I only use it at night before bed. - dl*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 2, 2025
I liked that it's fragrance-free and has good ingredients, making it easy to use. The gel texture is hydrating and absorbs well without any stickiness. The tube packaging is hygienic, and it applies smoothly on the skin, providing a pleasant user experience. It's a bit pricey for the amount you get. The hydration wasn't quite enough for winter use. I'd recommend using this in seasons other than winter. - st******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2025
To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first since it's not a well-known cosmetics brand. But wow, I'm so impressed! When you think of a soothing gel, you might imagine a clear aloe vera gel, but this one has a white, creamy texture like a regular moisturizer. It glides onto the skin effortlessly and provides ample hydration! You can use it not just in summer, but even in winter for sufficient moisturizing effects without feeling heavy. For those with sensitive skin or occasional blemishes, it's hard to use heavily fragranced, oily creams. This would be perfect for those situations. I think it would be great to apply when you're dealing with super sensitive skin or when blemishes pop up. For those with very dry skin, it might not be enough to fully replenish both oil and moisture balance like a more intensive moisturizer would. - xv***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2025
• Texture It's a gel-type product, but the texture is close to a cream. It's not like a transparent aloe gel, but rather a white, semi-transparent formula that's denser than a typical gel. • Feel on skin As mentioned above, it feels like a combination of a bouncy, hydrating gel and a moisturizing cream. It's relatively lightweight and fresh, feeling moisturizing when applied without being sticky. • Hydration It definitely excels at replenishing the skin's moisture. Plus, it absorbs well, quickly sinking into the skin. • No irritation I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any discomfort like blemishes or irritation while using this product. • Scent The scent is almost undetectable, making it suitable for those who are sensitive to fragrances and easy to use without any strong preferences. • Oil content It's not very rich in oils, so it might be more suitable for certain seasons and skin types. • Sample size I tried this product as a sample, so the photo shows the 15ml size. Even so, I've been using it quite generously. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 6, 2025
I expected a soothing gel texture from the 'Soothing Relief Gel', but it was more like a semi-transparent cream with a thicker consistency. It's similar to an ointment, but applies smoothly like a primer without any stickiness. Panthenol is high up on the ingredient list, and like other panthenol-rich products, it has that characteristic feel - substantial but not oily, with a matte finish. A great point is that it doesn't leave the skin surface sticky or shiny. It's not very oily, so it might not provide enough hydration for winter use. Also, due to its texture, you end up using quite a bit of product. It's not a formula that spreads easily with a small amount. While it's fragrance-free and contains only gentle ingredients, it falls a bit short of making me want to purchase it again. Since it's not sticky, I tried using it as a hand cream and it works quite well. - wh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 5, 2025
The texture is a classic soothing gel, making it an excellent moisturizer for summer use. It's lightweight, absorbs well, and leaves a refreshing finish! That's why I recommend it for oily or blemish-prone skin. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin that typically doesn't react well to gel-type products, but this one was the best gel I've tried. It didn't cause any additional blemishes and provides a refreshing yet non-drying soothing effect. It lacks any oil content, so I couldn't use it outside of summer due to its drying effect. When I needed more richness, I mixed this product with an emulsion or cream. This combination provided a refreshing feel without causing dryness! - ye******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsJan 24, 2025
I tried this on my dry combination dehydrated skin during winter. The texture is between a soothing gel and a cream, like a thin emulsion, and it absorbs well. It's also fragrance-free, which seems suitable for super sensitive skin. The advantages are that it doesn't cause irritation and seems to fill the skin with hydration, making makeup application smoother. Overall, its excellent moisture retention reduces the feeling of dryness, making it great to apply before bed. The price is a bit steep for me to purchase, and I think there might be other (more affordable but still decent) alternatives for this type of product. It might not be suitable for those with very dry skin. I don't plan to repurchase. - je***********Dry SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2025
It absorbs well and the tube format makes it convenient to use. The application is smooth like a soothing gel, which I'm really satisfied with. There's not really anything I dislike about it. If I had to nitpick, I'd say that while it feels hydrating, it doesn't provide as much moisturizing effect as I'd like. - gg*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 13, 2025
This is the skincare product I've used the longest. When COVID hit and we started wearing masks, my skin suddenly went haywire. I rarely had skin issues before, but my complexion completely changed. The worst problem was tiny bumps - it was so severe I was stressed to the point of going crazy. I kept switching skincare products, but nothing helped. As a last resort, I decided to try this through an Instagram group buy, thinking 'you have to spend money to make money'. Surprisingly, after 1-2 weeks of use, the bumps disappeared and haven't come back since! I'm still using the Cure Code Soothing Gel year-round. Actually, I'm using all of Cure Code's skincare products, including their cleanser. If you have severe blemishes or acne, you absolutely must try this soothing gel. It's truly a holy grail product! There are honestly no drawbacks. I just wish it was a bit cheaper so I could stock up on more! I have extremely sensitive and dry skin. In summer, I use an exfoliating toner and clay mask, then apply plenty of soothing gel. It leaves my skin hydrated without feeling sticky or dry. In winter, I layer a compatible serum and then slather on the soothing gel, which prevents dryness. Highly recommended for dry skin types who hate stickiness. When it's really dry or cold, I apply a heavier double barrier cream on areas except the T-zone. This helps my makeup go on well and eliminates deep dryness. It's the king of skincare routines!
