If you hold your breath while applying, it's not so bad.

Everything's great, but being an alcohol-based product, it does have a strong alcohol scent when applying. However, the effectiveness is worth tolerating this minor inconvenience.

I've been using this for a year now. While I always experience a tingling sensation after shaving, applying this before my toner definitely makes a difference. Though it stings initially, I can clearly feel it soothing my skin afterwards.
