ConsI developed an allergic reaction on my face. At first, I didn't notice, but then I got hive-like bumps on my neck.

It's rich but absorbs well, and the application is absolutely fantastic.
ConsThe fragrance. I prefer unscented products as scents irritate my eyes. This one has a scent that's harsh on the eyes.
TipIf you tilt the dropper slightly, it dispenses one drop at a time. I use one drop on my forehead, then insert the dropper halfway, tap it on the bottle opening, and tilt it slightly to get another drop. I use these two drops along my jawline. The product page recommends using one drop at a time. Many find it inconvenient, but I think the packaging works well for me. Hope this helps!

As the temperature fluctuations between day and night increase, it's time to focus on skin hydration, right? The added benefit is that it's a two-in-one solution, taking care of elasticity as well. When you apply this lifting ampoule first, you'll notice that your subsequent cream goes on more smoothly and absorbs well without any stickiness! It blends harmoniously with any skincare routine without pilling. Good stuff!
ConsThe dropper seems to have weak suction, so it's not functioning as well as it should... I wonder if it's just the one I purchased that has this issue.

ConsI'm not sure if it's because of this product, but I've noticed small blemishes appearing and my skin feels a bit oilier, so I've stopped using it for now. Also, the packaging feels a bit toy-like? The dropper doesn't work well, making it hard to get the product out.
TipIf you have dry skin or suffer from deep dryness, this product might work really well for you!

The application is smooth - it's not a concentrated serum, so it doesn't sting around the eyes and keeps my skin feeling hydrated.
ConsThe downside is that its effects don't last very long. If you have dry skin, you might want to use this alongside another ampoule for better results. My previous ampoules were quite thick, which made my skin look oily in this weather and caused maskne. This one is definitely less irritating, which is great, but it doesn't quite provide enough hydration on its own.
TipI've found a trick that works well - I put some toner in the empty bottle and use it as a mist spray. After letting it absorb, I apply the ampoule. This seems to boost the hydrating effect even more.

I needed to restock my skincare essentials, and while I have a go-to exfoliating toner, I'm still searching for the perfect serum or ampoule. While browsing at Olive Young, this product caught my eye with its great reviews. A quick ingredient check on Hwahae confirmed it was worth trying, so I picked it up. Key benefits: - Hydrating with good absorption - Lightweight texture - Decent absorption - Quality ingredients I appreciate the thin consistency, perfect for summer when heavy formulas can feel uncomfortable. It applies smoothly and feels hydrating! While the absorption isn't miraculous, it's satisfactory. The finish isn't ultra-matte, but honestly, that's fine by me. Serums aren't the final step anyway, and I rely on my moisturizer for the perfect finish. As long as it's not overly sticky, I'm happy since I'm not super sensitive. It's marketed as a lifting ampoule, but it's too soon to see major results. However, it's been great for my dehydrated areas without feeling disconnected from the rest of my routine. It seems to be a solid performer. If I notice lifting effects after finishing the bottle and don't have another product in mind, I might consider repurchasing.
ConsKey drawbacks: - Infuriating dropper - Scent (debatable) - Packaging design This product has one of the worst droppers I've encountered in serums or ampoules. It's genuinely frustrating to use, to the point where I get angry every time. I'm being generous with a 4-star rating considering the dropper issue alone. Even drugstore products have better droppers than this. The opaque formula makes it hard to see how much product you're getting. I'll think I've filled the dropper, only to find nothing comes out when I try to apply it. I end up pumping it multiple times just to get product out. The overall packaging looks cheap, which is surprising given the price point. Honestly, no matter how good the product is, this dropper would make me hesitate to repurchase. That's why I said I might repurchase earlier - if not for the dropper, I'd definitely buy it again. It's giving me anxiety after just a short time using it! The scent is mild but has a slightly off-putting note. It doesn't bother me much, but it might be hit-or-miss for others. I'm sensitive to smells, so take that with a grain of salt. As for the design, I wish they'd gone for either a fully opaque or clear bottle. The bright purple isn't particularly attractive and stands out awkwardly on my vanity. It reminds me of hair products you'd see at a salon. I'd much rather they invested in improving the dropper than this packaging.
TipI sometimes use this as a mini-mask by applying it to my smile lines and around my eyes on small, unsoaked cotton pads. However, if you find the dropper as inconvenient as I do, I'd recommend transferring the product to a different container for easier use.

It applies smoothly and gently on the skin, making it incredibly easy to use. After application, your skin appears more elastic, radiant, and remarkably smooth in texture. What I love most about this ampoule is that it doesn't feel sticky or excessively oily, which could cause blemishes. Instead, it gives your skin a sleek, healthy glow, making it look naturally vibrant. The hydration it provides is impressive - even when your skin feels dry, applying just this ampoule can significantly alleviate the dryness. Usually, I'd think a cream would be necessary for such hydration, but this ampoule has completely changed my perspective with its impressive moisturizing capabilities! The dropper-type packaging makes it easy to control the amount and ensures hygienic use. Plus, the plastic bottle is convenient for storage and use without any hassle.
ConsThe downside, however, is definitely the product's scent. Being a functional skincare line, it has a fragrance that doesn't dissipate quickly, which can be quite headache-inducing. To be honest, if you apply too much, the scent can make you feel a bit dizzy. So, I think people's opinions on the fragrance might vary greatly. Also, it focuses more on moisturizing than hydration, so if you're looking for an ampoule rich in hydration, you might find this one disappointing as it won't quench your skin's thirst for water. For those with dehydrated skin types, I'd recommend using this as a moisturizing step to finish your skincare routine, making sure to use other products for hydration.
TipWhen doing body care, mixing this ampoule with your body lotion can greatly help reduce dryness and alleviate skin itching!

The application is smooth too. I love that it comes with a hygienic dropper.
ConsThe scent might seem strong at first, but you get used to it and it becomes more tolerable over time.
