❗️Review of Mung Bean Balancing Cream for Slightly Dry Skin❗️ First off, the delivery came with paper tape and paper cushioning! With environmental concerns these days, I'm trying to reduce plastic and vinyl use where possible, so this small detail really set positive expectations! Despite having slightly dry skin, I usually don't maintain a thorough skincare routine. I skip morning and afternoon applications due to laziness and the heavy feeling, but I love my night routine - after cleansing, I apply products generously in layers, preferring a heavy and rich feel to wake up with hydrated skin in the morning! When I first tried this product, I immediately understood why it's called a balancing cream. The oil and moisture balance is just right, neither excessive nor lacking - it truly lives up to its name! I initially used it for a few nights in place of my usual night skincare. For someone like me who only does skincare at night, it felt too light on its own. However, when choosing skincare basics, I think the biggest concern is always whether it will cause blemishes. In that regard, this cream was great as it didn't cause any breakouts! Since it's too light for nighttime use, I now apply it before makeup. Starting this pre-makeup skincare routine has really made me realize the importance of a good base. I also really appreciate that it's fragrance-free, as I don't think creams need added scents. If you prefer a cream that's neither too light nor too heavy, but has a fresh feel, I think you could use this without any particular drawbacks or strong opinions either way!
It's smaller than expected. While the rich and hydrating feel doesn't seem to last very long, applying multiple thin layers as needed should solve this issue!
