Hello there! This is Adel White!
I couldn't post a review during exam season, but I'm finally sharing it now! Etude House has a sensitive skin line called 'Soon Jung' made with only the gentlest ingredients! With apps like Hwahae allowing us to check product ingredients, I think Etude House made a smart marketing move here! (My major keeps making me analyze everything, haha.) As someone who usually uses sensitive skin care products, I was really interested in this one! I was so lucky to win it in a Hwahae event!
This product was the best in the line:
1. Despite being a foam cleanser, it has such kind ingredients!
2. It's a pump product, making it convenient. The foam compensates for the typical weakness of gentle ingredients - it lathers well!
3. The cleansing power is truly amazing! (I'm speechless!) It thoroughly removes most makeup with double cleansing!
4. The finish feels like it doesn't strip moisture! It leaves skin squeaky clean yet moisturized and smooth!
5. It even exfoliates with citric acid!
6. A cleansing foam with Madecassoside and Panthenol? It cleanses, heals, and soothes all at once! Plus, it replenishes moisture that might be lost during cleansing!
7. Gentle enough for morning cleansing! Perfect for sensitive skin with zero irritation!
There weren't many downsides to the product itself, but:
1. Being a foam pump type, I'm worried it might run out quickly since I use two to three pumps each time.
2. It doesn't produce an abundance of foam. When you apply it to a wet face, the foam seems to disappear quickly. The rich lather is a bit lacking (but it still cleanses well!).
3. Like most products in this line, it's a tad pricey.
At first, I didn't know and used it without shaking, so it produced even less foam!
Make sure to shake well before use! It creates denser foam that way!
I definitely want to repurchase this product!
