This is my review after using two bottles and now on my third one, having tried other products in between but coming back to this! I have oily, acne-prone skin and use this for morning cleansing and as a second cleanse. Etude often has sales by category and cart discounts. The Soon Jung line is generally very reliable, so it's great to buy during sales! 1. Price Etude frequently has cart sales! They often offer discounts up to 50%, making it really affordable when you buy at that price. 2. Zero irritants I love that the ingredient list is all green-rated! 3. No eye irritation Maybe because there are no harsh ingredients, it doesn't sting my eyes when cleansing. 4. Fragrance-free I prefer fragrance-free products for skincare and cleansing! 5. Foam texture is gentle Not only is it non-irritating for eyes, but it's also gentle on the skin.
1. As a foam cleanser, it doesn't give a deep cleanse feeling It's great for morning cleansing, but it seems to lack cleansing power for evening use after removing makeup. So I mix in a bit of my tea tree wash-off pack. This might be because I have oily skin though.
For those with dry or sensitive skin, this alone should be sufficient for cleansing! If you have oily skin like me and want to use it in summer, for evening cleansing I recommend mixing it with an enzyme cleanser, foam cleanser, or in my case, a wash-off pack! Since it's a foam cleanser, the foam doesn't disappear even when mixed with other products :) My photos show a pea-sized amount of wash-off pack with one pump of Etude Whip Cleanser on top, and another photo of them well mixed!
