I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway, so I got to try it out. First off, my skin is combination dehydrated with small blemishes. I'd been using my regular foam cleanser for morning cleansing, but I was looking for something lighter. Then I saw the Hwahae event featuring Etude's Soon Jung line with a foaming cleanser, so I immediately applied! True to its low pH, it's really gentle. With my skin being extra sensitive due to mask-wearing lately, I trust this low pH formula. When you see foam cleansers like this, they usually have a rich, dense lather, but this one is more of a light, flowing foam. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel dry, but it's not super hydrated either. They say it's fragrance-free, but I detect a slight soapy scent. It's not off-putting though! I haven't experienced any blemishes while using it. It's okay. Surprisingly good cleansing effectiveness - I use this on days with light makeup. I'd recommend this if you're lazy about lathering up or looking for a gentle cleanser for quick morning washes. Using this has made me trust the Soon Jung line even more!
There's not really a downside, but as I've used it more, I've noticed the soapy scent can be quite strong at times. Still, it's convenient and gentle, so I'm happy using it.
I massage my nose to remove blackheads with cleansing oil, then apply a bit of this foam and let it sit before washing. It makes my nose feel really smooth!
